Renowned TV presenter, interviewer, and journalist, Mofeed Fawzy passed away, after being hospitalized due to health issues.
The late journalist had undergone surgery in the past couple of weeks on the gall bladder duct, and his daughter Hanan Fawzy revealed that he got out of the hospital and will be continuing his treatment at home.
The daughter of the esteemed journalist said the funeral service will be held at El Maraashly Church in the Cairo district of Zamalek at 12:00 p.m.
Fawzy was born in 1933, he graduated from the Faculty of Arts, at Cairo University, in 1959, and was married to late broadcaster Amal El-Omdah.
He pioneered the concept of ​​press television with his celebrated program &ldquo;Hadeeth Al Madena&rdquo; &ldquo;Talk of the Town&rdquo; which he presented for nearly 26 years.
