According to the Middle East News Agency (MENA), Ahmed El-Moslemany, Head of Egypt&rsquo;s National Media Authority, met Sir Magdi Yacoub at the Grand Egyptian Museum shortly before its official opening ceremony.
El-Moslemany said he had spoken with Sir Magdi Yacoub about accelerating the production of a television series depicting Yakoub&rsquo;s life story, continuing earlier discussions on the project.
&ldquo;Sir Magdi reaffirmed his interest in holding a detailed dialogue regarding the dramatic content and storyline,&rdquo; El-Moslemany noted.
He added that both sides agreed to hold a follow-up meeting in the second half of November 2025 and expressed optimism about launching production soon.
MENA also reported that El-Moslemany had previously announced, during a meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly in mid-April, that Egyptian Television would produce a biographical series documenting the life and legacy of Sir Magdi Yacoub.
