It&rsquo;s everywhere that you may have seen it already, the new viral crying filter has succeeded in bringing people back to Snapchat.
In case you haven&rsquo;t seen it yet, it&rsquo;s basically a filter that puts a permanent crying face on whoever the camera is pointed at and it looks so realistic that you almost can&rsquo;t tell it&rsquo;s a filter.
For the past few days, the filter began trending everywhere with people joining the joke by using the filter on other individuals and making fun of their sad expressions. What made it even funnier, is the fact that the person in front of the camera has no idea they're being pranked.

In one of its most-watched videos by @fablesinfocus with more than 19 million views. A mom is shown being requested for a french fry by her kid. The crying face filter makes her appear devastated, which leads her daughter to ask what is wrong and what makes the situation get more hilarious is the mom looking confused about what is happening.

Many people said that the App must've used&nbsp;Amber's crying facial expression last week&nbsp;on the stand as the blueprint on the filter.
Despite the rumors, a spokesperson for Snap denied the rumors and said that the filter has been in the works for 6 months so it was being developed long before Amber ever offered her tearful testimony, according to TMZ.
According to Snapchat, the filter was launched on Friday, the 6th of May and had over 1.3 billion uses by the 11th of May.
