<p>(AP)-The BET Awards return with a live show that could see Doja Cat, Drake and Ari Lennox snag some trophies.</p>
<p>Doja Cat enters the show as the leading nominee with six nominations. The chart-topping performer is up for Best Female R&amp;B-pop Artist, Best Female hip-hop Artist, Album of The Year for her No. 1 hit &ldquo;Planet Her&rdquo; and BET Her for &ldquo;Woman.&rdquo; While her track &ldquo;Kiss Me More&rdquo; with SZA is also nominated for Video of The Year and Best Collaboration.</p>

<p>Drake and Ari Lennox are the second-most nominated acts, scoring four nods each. Three nominations went to several others including Baby Keem, Silk Sonic, Chloe Bailey, Future, H.E.R., Jazmine Sullivan, Ye (formerly known as Kanye West), Kendrick Lamar, Lil Baby, Mary J. Blige and Tems.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Sean &ldquo;Diddy&rdquo; Combs will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award &mdash; one of the highest honors at the ceremony. The music mogul is the founder of Bad Boy Records, has his own television network, fashion line and is a three-time Grammy winner who has worked with a slew of top-tier artists including Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, Usher, Lil Kim, Faith Evans and 112.</p>

<p>The winners in the 19 categories, including film and sports awards, will be selected by BET&rsquo;s Voting Academy, comprised of entertainment professionals and fans. The show will start Sunday at 8 PM ET (Monday at 2 AM GMT).</p>

<p>Depp also made a&nbsp;surprise appearance&nbsp;recently at a Jeff Beck concert in London at the end of May, performing their 2020 John Lennon remake &ldquo;Isolation&rdquo; just two days after his legal team made closing arguments in his bitterly contested defamation lawsuit against ex-wife&nbsp;Amber Heard.</p>
<p>The actor was&nbsp;ultimately&nbsp;awarded&nbsp;more than $10 million in damages by the judge, while Heard received just $2 million in her libel countersuit.</p>

Johnny Depp Is Going on Tour With Hollywood Vampires Bandmates

<p>Beyonc&eacute; just gave her fans a first taste of her upcoming album&nbsp;&ldquo;Renaissance&rdquo; by releasing a new single &ldquo;Break My Soul,&rdquo; which she dropped on streaming platforms and also by a lyric video on YouTube.</p>
<p>The song is the first single from her upcoming seventh album, she announced the release by changing the bios on her social media accounts to &ldquo;6. BREAK MY SOUL midnight ET,&rdquo; meaning &ldquo;Break My Soul&rdquo; is also the sixth track on the album.</p>
<p>Last week, the star announced that the album would be released on the 29th of July, adding &ldquo;act I&rdquo; as a second title to it.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&ldquo;Break My Soul&rdquo; arrives two days after the Juneteenth holiday, which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. Two years ago, Beyoncé released the &ldquo;Black Parade&rdquo; song on Juneteenth, which raised money for BeyGOOD&rsquo;s Black Business Impact Fund. The single received four Grammy nominations including record and song of the year, and it went on to win best R&amp;B performance, marking Bey&rsquo;s 28th Grammy win and making her the most awarded single and female artist in Grammy history.</p>

Beyoncé Releases New Single ‘Break My Soul’ A Little Early

<p>Ed Sheeran&rsquo;s 'Bad Habits' led him to a double crown in the UK charts for 2021, as the singer is now named the year&rsquo;s most-played artist with the most played track.&nbsp;</p>
<p>According to the music licensing organization, Sheeran is the first artist to win both titles twice. The first time was in 2017, when he held both top spots in PPL&rsquo;s Most Played Charts, with&nbsp;&ldquo;&divide;&nbsp;(divide)&rdquo; and &ldquo;Shape Of You.&rdquo;</p>
<p>The only other artist to do so was Adele when her&nbsp;&ldquo;21&rdquo; album and &ldquo;Rolling in the Deep&rdquo; topped the charts in 2011.</p>

Ed Sheeran Is UK's Most-Played Artist Of 2021, Sets Record

<p>BTS&rsquo; new compilation album&nbsp;&ldquo;Proof&rdquo;&nbsp;debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart (dated June 25), garnering the&nbsp;pop&nbsp;group its sixth chart-topper.</p>
<p>The retrospective &ndash; consisting mostly of previously released material &ndash; bows with 314 thousand equivalent album units earned in the US in the week ending on the 16th of June, according to Luminate. The majority of that unit figure was driven by CD album sales.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Proof&rdquo;&nbsp;registers the year&rsquo;s biggest week for an album by a group, both in units earned and in album sales. The only larger week overall in 2022 was &nbsp;Harry Styles' album &ldquo;Harry&rsquo;s House,&rdquo; with 521 thousand units, of which 330 thousand were in album sales.</p>
<p>BTS&rsquo; album&nbsp;was released as a 35-track digital download and streaming album, and an expanded 48-track album on CD. The latter edition has 13 exclusive tracks with mostly demo recordings, which are not available on the digital or streaming album.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The album also sold nearly 266 thousand copies in traditional album sales including 6,500 copies of digital albums. The remaining sum of a little over 259 thousand was all in CD sales. That marks the largest sales week for an album on CD in the US since&nbsp;Adele&rsquo;s&nbsp;&ldquo;30.&rdquo;</p>

<p>&ldquo;Proof&nbsp;&ldquo;recorded mostly in the Korean language, is the 15th mostly or all non-English language album to hit No. 1 on the 200 Albums Chart and the third in 2022. This year also saw non-English No. 1s from&nbsp;Bad Bunny's "Un Verano Sin Ti" and&nbsp;Stray Kids' "Oddinary". Of the 15 leaders that were recorded mostly in a language other than English, six have been by BTS.</p>
<p>The album was released on the 10th of June, four days before the group&nbsp;announced&nbsp;an indefinite &ldquo;hiatus&rdquo; to focus on solo projects. BTS debuted in 2013 and has tallied 15 entries on the Billboard 200 albums chart since then.</p>

<p>The Black Phone is a horror/thriller movie directed by Scott Derrickson; the renowned horror director of "Sinister" and "The Exorcism of Emily Rose". It follows &ldquo;The Grabber&rdquo;, a local criminal who drives around in a black van with black balloons kidnapping teenagers and eventually killing them. The movie follows Finny, a 13-year-old boy, who gets bullied at his school, and is the latest victim. He is kept in the Grabber's basement with nothing but a disconnected black phone that suddenly starts ringing and acts as a bridge between Finny and the previous victims. With their help and his sister&rsquo;s dreams as her guide to reach him, Finny might actually have a chance against the Grabber.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;The Black Phone is smartly edited, as the audience barely see the Grabber in the first third of the movie, but they can definitely feel his presence lurking in the background. When the audience get to see what happened to the previous victims, the scenes switch to a&nbsp; grainy 16mm camera, which gives a vintage, nostalgic look to the movie. The unveiling of the location of The Grabber&rsquo;s house is masterfully directed as the ending is one big epic conclusion where all characters come together and try to stop the evil circling their hometown. The Black Phone is not only well edited, but it also has a mesmerizing soundtrack made by a trendy composer, Mark Korven, who made the soundtracks of The Witch (2019), The Lighthouse (2019) and In the Tall Grass (2019). The soundtrack sets a very eerie tone and builds a creepy atmosphere.&nbsp;Ethan Hawke&rsquo;s performance is enticing even though he has little screen time. His mask resembles the theatre symbols of the comedy and tragedy to reflect his emotions under it. The child-acting in the movie is astonishing as they carry out most of the movie on their own.</p>

<p>"Top Gun: Maverick" has joined the billion-dollar club at the global&nbsp;Box Office, becoming Tom Cruise&rsquo;s first film&nbsp;to achieve the milestone, and the 50th Hollywood movie overall, not adjusted for inflation.</p>
<p>On Sunday the 26th of June, the action film passed the barrier after fini ing&nbsp; with an estimated domestic total of $521.7 million and $484.7 million overseas for a global grossing of $1 billion.</p>
<p>&ldquo;Maverick&rdquo; grossed $1B globally&nbsp;in just 31 days, marking only the second time a movie has hit such heights during the pandemic; and setting by far&nbsp;Cruise&rsquo;s highest-grossing movie ever.</p>

<p>The sequel is only the second Hollywood film of the pandemic era to cross $1 billion just behind &ldquo;Spider-Man: No Way Home&rdquo; which grossed $1.89 billion.</p>
<p>According to Paramount, more than 16 percent of&nbsp;the &ldquo;Top Gun 2&rdquo; audience has seen the film more than once in theaters, while 4 percent have seen it four times or more.</p>
<p>Cruise&rsquo;s previous biggest film worldwide was&nbsp;&ldquo;Mission: Impossible &mdash; Fallout,&rdquo; which grossed $791 million in 2018, not adjusted for inflation.</p>

<p>After 36 years of the first part, the actor came back with a new one. &ldquo;Top Gun: Maverick" is a sequel to 1986 Tom Cruse&rsquo;s action film &ldquo;Top Gun.&rdquo;</p>
<p>The story of the new film is about one of the Navy's best aviators who is Pete "Maverick" Mitchell played by Cruise, after more than 30 years of doing his duty and pushing the edge as a brave test pilot. Maverick must face the demons of his past and his greatest fears while training a group of graduates for a special task, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who choose to fly it.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The star then spoke about her dad&rsquo;s role in choosing her career path and what he did to support her, she said &ldquo;He just really loved me. My dad gave me my mystical, magical love of the theatre. To me, the best place in the world is backstage at a theatre &ndash; backstage anywhere is where I feel most at home.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The first official joint portrait of the&nbsp;Duke and&nbsp;Duchess of Cambridge&nbsp;has been unveiled today to mark the couple's visit to&nbsp;Cambridgeshire.</p>

<p>The portrait was painted by award-winning British portrait artist Jamie Coreth in 2021 by an order from the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund, as a gift to the people of the county.</p>

<p>The artist continued speaking about how he wanted to do the portrait, he said &ldquo;As it is the first portrait to depict them together, and specifically during their time as The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, I wanted the image to evoke a feeling of balance between their public and private lives.&rdquo;</p>

<p>More details have emerged from the accident that claimed the lives of two actors and injured two cast members and four crew members in Mexico while filming 'The Chosen One', series.</p>
<p>The production of the series has been temporarily paused by Redrum, the company running the filming. The accident occurred when the victims were in transit from Santa Rosal&iacute;a to the local airport. The injured cast and crew members are in stable condition.</p>
<p>The Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) is looking into the accident. SAG-AFTRA has been in contact with the production company and the Mexican actors union ANDA about this incident and we are investigating the circumstances with local production,&rdquo; said a spokesperson. &ldquo;On set safety is always our top priority. We will continue to take all necessary steps to ensure that our members and others are safe in their workplace.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Crew members were riding in a van when it crashed and flipped in an accident near filming of the series&nbsp;The Chosen One.&nbsp;The accident happened on a desert road near Mulege on the Baja California Sur peninsula.</p>
<p>The victims were not identified at first. The Baja California Department of Culture said later that actors Raymundo Gardu&ntilde;o Cruz and Juan Francisco Gonz&aacute;lez Aguilar died, officials said.</p>

<p>(Reuters) - Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk has asked employees to return to the office or leave the company, according to an email sent to employees and seen by Reuters.</p>
<p>Musk wrote in the email "Everyone at Tesla is required to spend a minimum of 40 hours in the office per week," adding "If you don't show up, we will assume you have resigned."</p>
<p>"The more senior you are, the more visible must be your presence,&rdquo; Musk wrote. &ldquo;That is why I lived in the factory so much &mdash; so that those on the line could see me working alongside them. If I had not done that, Tesla would long ago have gone bankrupt.&rdquo;</p>

<p>One of Musk's Twitter followers posted another email that Musk apparently sent to executives asking them to work in the office for at least 40 hours per week or "depart Tesla."</p>
<p>In response to this tweet, the billionaire, said "They should pretend to work somewhere else."</p>
<p>Major tech firms in Silicon Valley do not require workers to return to the office full-time, in the face of resistance from some workers and a resurgence of coronavirus cases in California.</p>
<p>Tesla has moved its headquarters to Austin, Texas, but has its engineering base and one of its factories in the San Francisco Bay area.</p>

<p>Google company revealed that it has signed deals to pay more than 300 publishers in Germany, France and four other European Union countries for their news.</p>
<p>The company also said that it will roll out a tool to make it easier for others publishers to sign up too, according to Reuters.</p>
<p>This action, which will be made public later on Wednesday, comes three years after the EU adopted landmark copyright regulations requiring Google and other internet platforms to pay musicians, performers, authors, news publishers and journalists for using their work.</p>
<p>"So far, we have agreements which cover more than 300 national, local and specialist news publications in Germany, Hungary, France, Austria, the Netherlands and Ireland, with many more discussions ongoing," director for news and publishing partnerships, Sulina Connal, said in blogpost that is expected to be published later on Wednesday. The blog did mention how much publishers were being paid.</p>
<p>News publishers, who are among Google's harshest critics, have long lobbied governments to guarantee that web platforms compensate them fairly for their material. Australia made such payments mandatory last year, and Canada enacted similar legislation last month.</p>
<p>Two-thirds of this group are German publishers including Der Spiegel, Die Zeit and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.</p>
<p>This Google&rsquo;s upcoming tool offers publishers an extended news preview agreement that allows the platform to show snippets and thumbnails for a licensing fee.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Tesla CEO explained the reason why banning Trump is morally wrong, he said&nbsp;&ldquo;Banning Trump from Twitter didn&rsquo;t end Trump&rsquo;s voice. It will amplify it among the right. And this is why it was morally wrong and flat-out stupid.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Last month, Twitter agreed to sell itself to Musk, for around $44 billion. The deal is still subject to shareholder and regulatory clearance. Musk stated that the business has not yet conducted a shareholder vote but he expects the deal to be completed in two to three months.</p>

<p>According to the terms of the agreement, stockholders will get $54.20 in cash for each share of Twitter stock they have, matching Musk's initial offer and representing a 38% premium over the stock price the day before Musk declared his offer to the company.</p>
<p>Musk spoke about his future plans as the CEO of Twitter in a statement, saying "Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated," adding "Twitter has tremendous potential &mdash; I look forward to working with the company and the community of users to unlock it."</p>

<p>Twitter independent board chair Bret Taylor described the deal as " the best path forward for Twitter's stockholders." Adding in a statement "The Twitter Board conducted a thoughtful and comprehensive process to assess Elon's proposal with a deliberate focus on value, certainty and financing.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Egypt&rsquo;s National Football Team is facing South Korea today in the lead-up to the 2022 World Cup and here&rsquo;s everything you need to know about the match.</p>
<p>The match will begin at 1:00 PM Cairo time and 2:00 PM Saudi Arabia time.</p>

<p>South Korean newspapers have covered the upcoming match between their country and Egypt as part of the preparations for the 2022 World Cup.</p>

<p>The Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, has given permission to the Ambulance Authority to work with the Suez Canal Authority to&nbsp;manufacture six marine ambulance boats.</p>
<p>The boats will serve the Egyptian coasts in the Red Sea and South Sinai governorates to serve the tourism sector, cruises and various marine activities.</p>
<p>Officials of the diving and marine activities sector in the Red Sea revealed that these vessels will include medical equipment, infection control equipment and first aid.</p>
<p><img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/nrpassets/uploads/embeds/1654697631-6.jpg" alt="" width="751" height="453" />They also stated that the marine ambulance centers will be established in the Red Sea and South Sinai governorates, as part of the Egyptian ambulance services system to serve the marine activities sector, diving and fishing trips in the place.</p>
<p>There is also a plan to establish two marine ambulance centers serving the north and south of Hurghada, and two other centers in the north and south of Marsa Alam.</p>
<p>Diving consultant and environmental expert, Ayman Taher confirmed that the marine ambulance service is a rapid response service and provides emergency ambulance services to help those injured and drowned in diving accidents.</p>
<p>Taher indicated that these centers will be equipped with the latest devices, emergency ambulance equipment, marine rescue tools and the necessary tools to provide medical care pre-transfer to the hospital.</p>
<p>Al-Masry Al-Youm previously published a report on the demands of workers in diving and marine activities in the Red Sea to establish maritime ambulance centers to deal with any emergencies or accidents in the diving and marine activities sector, which attract about three million foreign tourists annually.</p>

<p>Egyptian-British squash player Mohamed Elshorbagy spoke publicly about his decision to switch allegiance from Egypt to England,&nbsp;claiming he did not receive the support he had wished in Egypt, which sparked heavy criticism against him.</p>
<p>&ldquo;The older you get, the more you need a team behind&nbsp;you, you need a doctor and a special coach in every tournament. <p>He continued &ldquo;I was very annoyed each time I came to Egypt&nbsp;to see pictures of Egyptian athletes at the airport while I was the only champion who was omitted.&rdquo;</p>
<p>&ldquo;I have always been proud of winning trophies. When I won my first tournament in Gouna in 2016, I received the trophy with the Egyptian flag and was very proud to embrace it,&rdquo; he said.</p>
<p>Elshorbagy said that England believed in him and&nbsp;contacted him during the&nbsp;worst period of his career.</p>

<p>The Egyptian Squash Association has denied Elshorbagy's claims about not receiving support, saying they supported him throughout his career, adding that he received the First Class Sports Medal from Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi&nbsp;in 2018.</p>
<p>The national governing body also revealed that he has been living in Bristol since 2013, and declined on several occasions to compete with the national team in World Championships.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Elshorbagy, who won the World Championship in 2017, is expected to represent England in the Necker Mauritius Open, which will start today the 7th of June 2022.</p>

<p>1-Heat the oven while preparing the rest of the ingredients</p>
<p>2- Everything in this recipe is prepared separately so firstly, heat a pot of water and salt and cook the rice. Left over rice will also work.</p>
<p>3- Slice off the top of the pepper and remove all the inside seeds so it can be stuffed. Then in a pot of boiling water place the pepper upside down and let it cook for about 20 minutes.</p>
<p>4-In a pan, heat the oil and place the onion for 3 minutes then add the beef and season with your favorite seasoning alongside with salt and pepper.</p>
<p>5-Cook till the beef becomes a bit brown and then break it into crumbles and continue to cook or another 3 minutes. Add the garlic, mix it all together and cook it till the meat is well cooked.</p>
<p>6- Remove the beef from heat and drain it from all the oil.</p>
<p>7-Place the rice, tomato sauce and seasonings in with the beef and stir to combine.</p>
<p>8-When the mixture is finished, use a spoon to place it into the peppers, place the peppers into the oven and bake for around 20 minutes on medium heat.</p>
<p>9-When it&rsquo;s done, add the cheese to the tops of the peppers and continue to bake for few minutes.</p>
<p>10- Finish the dish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley, then serve and enjoy your tasty Stuffed Bell Peppers.</p>

<p>1-Wash and dry the chicken breast, cut it into small pieces and season it with salt, pepper, squeeze the lemon on it and seat it aside for the flavors to mix.</p>
<p>2- Heat a pan with the butter and some oil, then add the chicken and keep stirring for a while.</p>
<p>3- Once the chicken is all cooked, set it aside in a plate.</p>
<p>4- In the same pan, don&rsquo;t wash it, add the diced Zucchini and cook it for about 15 to 20 minutes.</p>
<p>5-After it is cooked, add the Mushrooms and the chicken to the same pan and stir for another 5 to 10 minutes.</p>
<p>6-After everything is well mixed together, add the cooking cream and lower the heat for about 10 minutes.</p>
<p>7- While it is all cooking, wash and put the rice in a pot with boiling water and salt. Once the rice is semi cooked, lower the heat and leave it for around 5 minutes.</p>
<p>8- Once the rice is cooked add to a plate with the chicken mix and there you got your delicious meal ready.</p>

<p>On Tuesday,&nbsp;Mark Zuckerberg&nbsp;announced that Creators on Instagram and Facebook will have&nbsp;another year&nbsp;to make money from the apps without Meta taking a cut from their earnings. The Platforms will begin taking a cut of creators&rsquo; revenues in 2024, a year later than originally planned.</p>
<p>The move will cover monetization features where creators directly charge their fans; paid online events, subscriptions, newsletters and badges sold during live streams, reports Engadget.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Though Meta has not revealed what percentage of revenue it will ultimately pocket, Zuckerberg has previously said it will be&nbsp;less than 30 percent.</p>
<p>The executive also added that the company will expand its Reels bonus program to more creators and allow them to monetize their short-form videos across both platforms.</p>

<p>The monetization updates for creators could help Instagram and Facebook curry the favor of creators as the company faces fierce competition from competitors like TikTok and YouTube.</p>
<p>The announcement also came a day before Meta heads to<a href="https://www.vidcon.com/"> VidCon 2022</a>, where the world's leading digital creators, platform innovators, and their fans converge in one place. Meta is expected to heavily&nbsp;promote its Reels and VR offerings&nbsp;to attendees.</p>
<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re heading towards a future where more people can do creative work they enjoy, and I want platforms like ours to play a role in making that happen,&rdquo; Zuckerberg wrote in a Facebook&nbsp;post&nbsp;announcing the updates for creators</p>

Mark Zuckerberg: Meta Will ‘Hold Off On Any Revenue Sharing’ Until 2024

<p>Korean hit drama series &ldquo;Squid Game&rdquo; is no longer just a fictitious television show after the streaming service greenlit "its biggest reality competition ever" called "Squid Game: The Challenge."</p>
<p>Unlike the series where the stakes are life or death, the worst possible fate in this 456 player competition will be leaving without the $4.56 million winnings, which the production company claims that it is the largest lump sum prize in reality TV history.</p>
<p>"Squid Game" became the most-watched series on the streamer&rsquo;s platform when it was released in September 2021 with over 1.65 billion hours viewed in its first 28 days, the company said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a statement released on Twitter, writer and director Hwang Dong-hyuk&nbsp;revealed that it took 12 years to bring &ldquo;Squid Game&rdquo; to life and the series took only 12 days to become the most-watched show. He then thanked the fans for loving and watching the show.</p>

<p>The series tells the story of cash-strapped contestants who play childhood games for a chance of life-changing sums of money. It inspired countless memes and Halloween costumes and kickstarted sales of green tracksuits.</p>

"Squid Game" Is Turning Into A Reality Show With Big Cash Prize

<p>It&rsquo;s everywhere that you may have seen it already, the new viral crying filter has succeeded in bringing people back to Snapchat.</p>
<p>In case you haven&rsquo;t seen it yet, it&rsquo;s basically a filter that puts a permanent crying face on whoever the camera is pointed at and it looks so realistic that you almost can&rsquo;t tell it&rsquo;s a filter.</p>
<p>For the past few days, the filter began trending everywhere with people joining the joke by using the filter on other individuals and making fun of their sad expressions. What made it even funnier, is the fact that the person in front of the camera has no idea they're being pranked.</p>

<p>In one of its most-watched videos by @fablesinfocus with more than 19 million views. A mom is shown being requested for a french fry by her kid. The crying face filter makes her appear devastated, which leads her daughter to ask what is wrong and what makes the situation get more hilarious is the mom looking confused about what is happening.</p>
<p>&nbsp;<img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/nrpassets/uploads/embeds/1652595539-3.png" alt="" width="377" height="600" />While it might be a pranking trend, it's also become the cause of a new rumor/joke. Many people said that the App must've used&nbsp;Amber's crying facial expression last week&nbsp;on the stand as the blueprint on the filter.</p>
<p>Despite the rumors, a spokesperson for Snap denied the rumors and said that the filter has been in the works for 6 months so it was being developed long before Amber ever offered her tearful testimony, according to TMZ.</p>
<p>According to Snapchat, the filter was launched on Friday, the 6th of May and had over 1.3 billion uses by the 11th of May.</p>

The New Viral Crying Filter Is Bringing People Back To Snapchat

<p>For three decades, FIFA has been one of the most iconic video games, but soon it will look different and its name will change as well.</p>
<p>Although it is one of the most profitable brands in gaming history, the cost of the license was a big reason behind the decision of Electronic Arts and its subsidiary EA Sports to end a three-decade partnership with the global soccer's governing body <a href="https://www.bing.com/search?q=fifa&amp;cvid=a4da3cbca5dc4f428daaac36660998a3&amp;aqs=edge..69i57j0l6j69i60l2.759j0j1&amp;pglt=41&amp;FORM=ANNAB1&amp;PC=U531">FIFA</a>.</p>
<p>From 2023 EA&rsquo;s video game will be known as &ldquo;EA Sports FC,&rdquo; according to the company&rsquo;s announcement on Tuesday. The gameplay mechanics and core modes of play will be similar to what has been expected in recent years. EA will keep also most of the team and player likenesses that have made the game so popular.</p>

<p>FIFA&nbsp;said in a statement&nbsp;that it had granted EA a one-year extension to release the FIFA 23 game, which will feature the upcoming men's and women's World Cups that FIFA organizes.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Fifa plans to release rival games. FIFA President Gianni Infantino said in the statement "I can assure you that the only authentic, real game that has the FIFA name will be the best one available for gamers and football fans, FIFA 23, FIFA 24, FIFA 25 and FIFA 26, and so on &mdash; the constant is the FIFA name and it will remain forever and remain THE BEST."</p>
<p>The first Fifa game was made by EA Sports in 1993 and has been in charge of the franchise ever since.</p>

<p>Billionaire Elon Musk&nbsp;revealed his vision for Twitter after he acquired the social media platform saying that he expects a lot from the employees.</p>
<p>In a tweet on his official account, Musk spoke about his work expectations for the company and wrote&rdquo; Also, work ethic expectations would be extreme, but much less than I demand of myself.&rdquo;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Musk&rsquo;s tweet accompanied a screenshot of an&nbsp;article titled: &ldquo;Job interest in Twitter skyrocketed more than 250% since Elon Musk moved to take over. But current employees are nervous.&rdquo;</p>
<p>The Tesla CEO commented on the article saying &ldquo;If Twitter acquisition completes, company will be super focused on hardcore software engineering, design, infosec &amp; server hardware,&rdquo; adding &ldquo;Managers in software must write great software or it&rsquo;s like being a cavalry captain who can&rsquo;t ride a horse!&rdquo;</p>

<p>Musk began paying considerable amounts of Twitter stock as recently as January 2022, eventually amassing a 5% stake in the firm by the 14th of March. After a month, he revealed his plan to buy Twitter for $54.20 per share. The idea wasn&rsquo;t initially looked fondly on by the social media service&rsquo;s Board of Directors, who went so far as to implement a limited-duration shareholder rights plan, or "poison pill," to discourage him from seeking to take over the company. Nonetheless, within two weeks, he'd successfully won a $44 billion deal to pay Twitter.</p>

<p>Musk commented about the news of him buying the company and shared the reason behind wanting to buy the platform, he said &ldquo;Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated."</p>
<p>He continued by revealing the things he wants to change on the platform which include making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spam bots and authenticating all humans. Twitter has tremendous potential.</p>

<p>Musk&rsquo;s acquisition of Twitter is expected to be finalized later in the year and upon this takeover, Twitter will become a private company.</p>

<p>After a weekend of tweets of Elon Musk suggesting possible changes to Twitter, it was officially announced that the tempestuous billionaire won&rsquo;t be joining the board of directors of Twitter.</p>
<p>The changes were revealed by Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal who also tweeted that Twitter will be an ad-free site, although nearly 90% of its 2021 revenue came from ads.</p>
<p>Tesla CEO will remain Twitter&rsquo;s largest shareholder, but the explanation for his decision is not clear until now. Agrawal just wrote in a reposted note originally sent to Tesla employees &ldquo;Elon&rsquo;s appointment to the board was to become officially effective on 4/9, but Elon shared that same morning that he would not be joining the board, I believe this is for the best.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The current stake of Musk in Twitter now is 9% stake, raising questions about how he might try to reshape the social media platform as Twitter&rsquo;s biggest shareholder.</p>
<p>Musk is a prominent figure on Twitter, having more than 80.5 million followers, rivaling pop stars like Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga. Even though, his tweets has been problematic sometimes, such as when he used it to promote his business ventures and question pandemic measures.</p>
<p>He has been in a long-running dispute with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission over his Twitter activity. Musk and Tesla in 2018 agreed to pay $40 million in civil fines and for Musk to have his tweets approved by a corporate lawyer after he tweeted about having the money to take</p>
<p>Tesla private at $420 per share. That didn&rsquo;t happen but the tweet caused Tesla&rsquo;s stock price to jump. His lawyer has contended that the SEC is infringing on Musk&rsquo;s free speech rights</p>
<p>Musk has described himself as a &ldquo;free speech absolutist&rdquo; and has said he doesn&rsquo;t think Twitter is living up to free speech principles &mdash; an opinion shared by followers of Donald Trump and several right-wing political figures who&rsquo;ve had their accounts suspended for violating Twitter content rules.</p>
<p>It is still unclear why Musk has been involved in Twitter to that extent. He argued to make Twitter&rsquo;s algorithm viewable by the public and widening the availability of &ldquo;verified&rdquo; Twitter accounts. He &ldquo;crypto spam bots,&rdquo; which search tweets for cryptocurrency related keywords then pose as customer support to empty user crypto wallets, the &ldquo;most annoying problem on Twitter.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Twitter&rsquo;s CEO and other board members have praised Musk, suggesting they might take his ideas seriously.</p>
