<p>Emma Stone entered the Saturday Night Live five-timers club, where Tina Fey and Candice Bergen greeted her.</p>
<p>The star of Poor Things hosted the SNL for the fifth time, earning her a five-timer jacket as a prize and joining a select group of celebrities who have done so. She also became the youngest-ever member of the show's esteemed "Five-Timers Club."</p>
<p>The 35-year-old Oscar winner took the stage for her monologue, expressing her excitement at returning to her evening guest host role.</p>
<p>&ldquo;It is so great to be back. It&rsquo;s my fifth time hosting SNL,&rdquo; Stone said at the top of her monologue. &ldquo;It has always been my favorite show and since I started hosting it&rsquo;s also become just a huge part of my life. I have made so many memories here and so many friends. And I even met my husband at SNL.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Stone is wed to Dave McCary, the director of an SNL episode. Shortly after her third hosting appearance in December 2016, the couple started dating in 2017.</p>
<p>SNL veteran and fellow club member Tina Fey, dressed in the customary club smoking jacket, startled Stone as she began her monologue, expressing how thrilled she was to join the Five-Timers Club.</p>

<p>Almost 10 years after Gone Girl, David Fincher's return to form transforms the French graphic novel series into a cinematic knockout. "The Killer" is a criminal thriller and a neo-noir film, based on the same-titled French comic book written by Alexis Nolent and drawn by Luc Jacamon. The protagonist is a visually unremarkable hitman who is inevitably nihilistic.</p>

<p>Fassbender is a representation of someone who is incredibly proficient at what he does and precise in every way. The killer admits his mistakes and lets the viewer empathize with him as a multifaceted hero. However, when a routine assignment goes wrong, he is compelled to change his strategies, devise a scheme to save himself.</p>
<p>The Killer discovers that he is now a target after the first job in the film goes wrong, which heightens the suspense and mystery as he avoids threats amid the explosions. Throughout the movie, you get to see other generic nameless characters: the Lawyer (Charles Parnell), the Client (Arliss Howard), the Expert (Tilda Swinton), and the Brute (Sala Baker). Fassbender maintains the lead with his composed demeanor and virtually unmodulated voice. Both the character and the film are dull, yet Fassbender manages to keep you watching, much like the incredibly talented Fincher, who creates pictures that captivate you even while your thoughts stray.</p>

<p>Technically speaking, "The Killer" functions like very few movies of its kind in recent memory simply because of the caliber of the crew that produced it. It seems that they have the same meticulous attention to detail and precision as the renowned filmmaker, and this type of production truly appreciates attention to detail. It's not a movie that should have a hard edge; rather, it works because it's as well-balanced as one of The Killer's jobs.</p>
<p>Despite the impression that "The Killer" is a drag due to all of this, it's one of Fincher's funniest movies. An amazing running joke concerns the assassin's fictitious aliases. Additionally, there is a parade of well-known companies to make a statement about a society that has become so commercialized and heartless that a murderer can go unnoticed because people are too preoccupied with other things to notice them. To execute his work, he depends on that.</p>
<p>In his twelfth film, The Killer, renowned filmmaker David Fincher goes back to his brutal beginnings, examining how feelings may undermine an individual's sense of intangibility and transform it into a primary need for retribution. The film presents a hitman tale you'll want to watch again and again thanks to a tight and dramatic screenplay by Andrew Kevin Walker, outstanding performances by Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton, and deft editing.</p>

<p>After leading the fifth and sixth entries of the "Scream" series,&nbsp;Melissa Barrera was fired from the upcoming "Scream 7" over a social media post.</p>
<p>According to <a href="https://variety.com/2023/film/news/scream-producers-explain-melissa-barrera-fired-antisemitism-1235804914/">Variety</a>, a spokesperson from Spyglass Media Group, the production company behind the film, clarified that&nbsp;Barrera&rsquo;s posts were interpreted as antisemitic, saying, "Spyglass&rsquo; stance is unequivocally clear:&nbsp;We have zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech&rdquo;.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Barrera had been posting on her social media about the ongoing violence in Gaza,&nbsp;On October 27th, she&nbsp;shared a post on her Instagram co-signing Artists 4 Ceasefire's&nbsp;open letter&nbsp;to President Joe Biden.</p>

<p>After the show got sold out in no time, a second show was added on the next day, where Tamino&rsquo;s majestic tunes and atmospheric music blended in with the historical and magical place he was performing at, with a setlist that included many of his most popular and beloved songs, such as &ldquo;The Flame&rdquo;, &ldquo;The First Disciple&rdquo;, &ldquo;Indigo Night&rdquo;, and &ldquo;Habibi&rdquo;.</p>
<p><em>Nile FM got the chance to chitchat with Tamino and delve deeper into his sophomore album and his returning to Egypt.&nbsp;</em></p>

<p><strong>This is your second time performing in Egypt, how does it feel like to come back here?</strong></p>
<p>"I&rsquo;m honored, and I was nervous last night, and I think I will be nervous tonight as well. Usually, I don&rsquo;t get nervous anymore, so I think it means something, I think it&rsquo;s just because I really wanna do extra well for Egypt.</p>
<p>Even though I lived here for 2 years&hellip;but I didn&rsquo;t really grow up here, still it feels like home, it&rsquo;s the country of my father, it&rsquo;s a country that I wanna explore more throughout my life, I wanna learn the language. I&rsquo;ve been saying that for years but I&rsquo;m actually learning a bit.</p>
<p>It means a lot to also bring my band and my crew here because a lot of them have never been in here, last time we had a smaller band and crew.</p>
<p>It&rsquo;s great on many levels."</p>
<p><strong>Since recording each album is its own unique experience, what was unique about recording &ldquo;Sahar&rdquo;?</strong></p>
<p>"The time in which it was recorded, I think for everybody it was a weird time, because of the pandemic and everything.</p>
<p>When the album came out I didn&rsquo;t want it to be stamped as a lockdown record, it&rsquo;s just my second record, I didn&rsquo;t want it to be bound forever with the pandemic, but then looking at it now, it of course affected it, immensely.</p>
<p>I was not on tour anymore, I was home for a long time, it was such a change in my life, my life changed very drastically."</p>

<p><strong>The majority of the album was recorded during the pandemic, did that affect the sound or the subject matter of the album?</strong></p>
<p>"For sure, because I think in terms of the subject matter, I think all of these songs are quite reflective, because it was a reflective time for probably many people, as we could look at our life from another perspective.</p>
<p>And because I was not on big stages anymore at that time, and usually in my room writing songs, that&rsquo;s probably why the record sounds quite roomy, instead of big like the first one [Amir], which was recorded in-between touring, we would tour a week and then we would be home for a week. If I was not on the stage, I was in the studio, and the experience from the stage would influence our time in the studio, cause we would think about the show we just played for a lot of people.</p>
<p>Also those years before &ldquo;Amir&rdquo; included the first shows that I ever did for big crowds, before releasing &ldquo;Habibi&rdquo;, I was playing in pubs, like small gigs, and let&rsquo;s say if I started recording my debut album then it wouldn&rsquo;t have sounded that big, because I couldn&rsquo;t imagine being in front of a big crowd like that."</p>
<p><strong>Your debut album &ldquo;Amir&rdquo; is titled after your first name, why did you choose the title &ldquo;Sahar&rdquo; for your second album?</strong></p>
<p>"Because of that state of reflection in the subject matter.</p>
<p>I asked my father is that a good title? and he said &ldquo;Yeah yeah, it&rsquo;s a first name, a lot of people will think it&rsquo;s about a girl&rdquo; but it means just before dawn, which is this nice in-limbo, transitional moment, sort of an in-between realm, and to me that album sits in that world.</p>

<p><strong>You&rsquo;ve mentioned before that Colin Greenwood has been part of your band, and he&rsquo;s also been a big part of this album, so can you tell us more about your experience working with him?</strong></p>
<p>So firstly, they [Radiohead] were a huge influence as a band, and when I met him [Colin Greenwood], I wouldn&rsquo;t have dreamt of actually working with him, but then was so kind and so open, and I just felt I can really ask him to play on this song, I didn&rsquo;t dare to do more than one, and he said, &ldquo;Yeah, of course&rdquo;.</p>
<p>And when he came to the studio he was nervous, he was more nervous than we were, and we were already quite nervous, because Colin was coming to the studio, but he nailed it of course as you can hear in &ldquo;Indigo Night&rdquo;, I love that bassline.</p>
<p>One thing led to another, and we just asked him to play some songs in a gig, and he learned how to play them all, and before we knew it he was in our band, he was just with us on tour, and then when we started recording &ldquo;Sahar&rdquo; it was just very clear to us that we had to get into the studio with Colin and Ruben [Vanhoutte], and then we included other musicians, but that was the core, Ruben, Colin and me."</p>
<p><strong>Oud is such a prominent instrument in &ldquo;Sahar&rdquo;; why did you include it specifically?</strong></p>
<p>&ldquo;Because it was the instrument I was studying really hard at that time. I used the pandemic to really dive deep into it, and actually, my teacher is with us. He&rsquo;s playing on stage with us tonight. It was the instrument I picked up first in the morning every day. Two years before the pandemic, I already started playing a bit, but always in between touring, and I never really got the time to go at it. There were some songs that would have never been there without the instrument like &ldquo;The First Disciple&rdquo;. It started with an oud melody, I was playing a melody of the chorus and I really liked it, then I started playing the guitar on top of that melody and that became the song. I think I can incorporate the instrument way more in future songs.&rdquo;</p>

<p><strong>Where do you usually draw inspiration from?</strong></p>
<p>&ldquo;From all over. When I write a new song, it is all about starting the work because if I wait for inspiration, nothing really comes. I really have to start working, and then hope for it to come. I do think that in the end, stories really inspire me. I love reading and love narrative. Somehow, it is like you&rsquo;re leading a second life, like a portal to this other dimension. I feel like that can bleed into your work, more than music even, for me.</p>
<p>Music is of course a huge inspiration for me, but also the narrative in my own life and the experiences and the way my life unfolds and the way I can have new experiences, that really is important to me. For example, living in Antwerp in Belgium, but in two weeks, I am moving to New York because I need a new place. New York, for me, I&rsquo;ve been exploring it a bit and I always felt sad when I had to leave because I felt like there&rsquo;s so much more to explore.</p>
<p>So for now that&rsquo;s a good place for me to be in I think, and I will always listen to that. I always wanna be searching. I&rsquo;ve also realized that the artists that inspire me the most are the artists that search throughout their whole life as they keep an open mind and they never arrive, they&rsquo;re never there. They always keep looking and they&rsquo;re curious, that means sometimes having to leave your comfort zone because if you&rsquo;re too comfortable as an artist, I don&rsquo;t think this art comes from that. I think it is important to face your fears and indulge in them.&rdquo;</p>
<p><strong>You&rsquo;ve collaborated with Belgian singer/songwriter Angele on your track &ldquo;Sunflower&rdquo;, which marks your first collab, why specifically did you choose to collaborate with her?</strong></p>
<p>&ldquo;Because we are friends. For me, it is very abstract to ask somebody that I don&rsquo;t know yet, so it was just something that very naturally happened in the pandemic where we got to know each other better a bit better. And when I wrote that song my mind just went to her because we already had the connection. Apart from that, I really love her voice and I love her work, it&rsquo;s a very different world from mine of course.</p>
<p>I think, therefore, even more interesting to see the contrast between the worlds and to see them come together, but I think in the future, if I ever collaborate with other people, for me, it&rsquo;s important to get to know them as it&rsquo;s very weird to step into the studio and start working immediately because I don&rsquo;t know them. I hope that in New York maybe I will meet some people that I will wanna work with eventually after of course we hang out and have fun together.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Jordanian actress Rakeen Saad is known for her shapeshifting abilities to transform as an actress from role to role. Behind Rakeen&rsquo;s dazzling performance is a journey that has spanned more than 10 years. She has been part of the most popular projects including, &ldquo;Rivo,&rdquo; &ldquo;El Rawabi School For Girls,&rdquo; and most recently, the trending show &ldquo;Safah El Giza&rdquo;.</p>
<p>&ldquo;Safah El Giza,&rdquo; follows Ahmed Fahmy, who embodies the character of Gaber, the serial killer with rigid features and a steady hand in killing. We also follow Zeina, played by Rakeen Saad, who is a girl who dreams of being a successful actress. As the story of both characters intertwined, Zeina falls into the claws of Giza&rsquo;s most dangerous serial killer, Gaber.</p>
<p>In a special interview, Rakeen takes us through that journey and into the depths of her latest project &ldquo;Safah El Giza&rdquo;.</p>

<p><strong>How did you get ready for your role as Zeina in Safah El Giza?</strong></p>
<p>&ldquo;I read the script and I sat down with Hady El Bagoury, the director, Ahmed Fahmi, and Ingy Abu el Seoud for table reads to discuss the character&rsquo;s details, what are her motifs and what is real and what is not. We did lots of trials with stylist Reem El Adl and make-up artist, Amr Abdullah to reach what&rsquo;s best for Zeina.</p>
<p>Also, on a personal level, I read a lot, researched more, and practiced with my acting coach Rana Rawaya to improve my physicality and help understand her motifs.&rdquo;</p>

<p><strong>How were you able to sympathize and find the human in Ahmed Fahmi&rsquo;s character Gaber, Safah El Giza?</strong></p>
<p>&ldquo;Zeina&rsquo;s character is split into two parts:&nbsp; the one inside Gaber or Mohy&rsquo;s mind and the real one. With the help of Hady El Bagoury&rsquo;s direction, I found myself able to understand both characters, and I was able to understand which Zeina am I playing. The real one or the made-up one. This was a challenge, but a very fun one.</p>
<p>The thing is Gaber believes that Zeina is sympathetic towards him, but that&rsquo;s not true. She&rsquo;s not. Zeina makes it very clear that she doesn&rsquo;t understand him and doesn&rsquo;t want anything to do with him.</p>
<p>He manipulated her and she was pushed by her belief that she deserved more and that she was stuck in a place that had no chances for her. That&rsquo;s the main reason she believed Mohy and that&rsquo;s when she became the victim. She&rsquo;s rebellious by nature and wants to be seen and get the attention she thinks she deserves. Mohy saw that she was young and she dreamed big and used that against her.&rdquo;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Recently, you&rsquo;ve been working with a lot of streaming-services-based projects, how do you feel towards streaming services and what makes them special?</strong></p>
<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m really happy to work with streaming services because this is the natural progression of media. What makes it special is that we had time to perfect the scenes. I didn&rsquo;t feel pressured because of a set time frame like in the Ramadan season. Also, the idea that an audience can binge-watch a show, and have the full control to play and stop it, is amazing. That&rsquo;s an interrelation between streaming services and TV, now you can access TV series on streaming services at your own pace.&rdquo;</p>

<p><strong>Can you describe your characters (Noaf- Zeina- Mariam) in a few words?</strong></p>
<p>&ldquo;Noaf is a unique character and a very smart one. Zeina is a rebellious spirit with a sensitive personality and she&rsquo;s also both a dreamer and a victim. On the other hand, Mariam&rsquo;s character is really close to mine. She is really close to my heart. I believe she&rsquo;s an emotional character, who is also stubborn yet sensitive.&rdquo;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Previously, you&rsquo;ve acted in serval languages and accents. Which of these accents are you most familiar with and comfortable with?</strong></p>
<p>&ldquo;My mother tongue, the Jordanian language, is where I feel most comfortable as I can express myself the most. However, in general, I really like to experiment with accents. At this very moment, I&rsquo;m also very familiar with the Egyptian accent and I&rsquo;m used to it by now.&rdquo;</p>

<p><strong>You&rsquo;ve collaborated with some of the biggest names and some of the most successful projects, do you consider yourself a lucky person, existing at the right time in the right place, or a very calculated person?</strong></p>
<p>&ldquo;Of course, I feel like I hit the Jackpot and that I&rsquo;m extremely lucky to be able to work on such projects with huge names. I&rsquo;ve learned a lot from them and am very thankful to be part of the Egyptian film industry.&rdquo;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Which celebrities would you love to work and collaborate with?</strong></p>
<p>&ldquo;There&rsquo;s a long list! The people I worked with already are much less than those I want to work with. I don&rsquo;t wanna name names because this is just the beginning of the road.</p>
<p>Currently, I&rsquo;m in the middle of a few very exciting projects and I&rsquo;m thrilled to talk about them. I should add that there might be a huge surprise very soon so stay tuned. I can&rsquo;t get into much detail but it&rsquo;s a movie and a TV show.&rdquo;</p>

Exclusive Interview With Rakeen Saad “Safah El Giza” Star

<p>Award-winning comic artist Deena Mohamed celebrated the release of the English version of &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo; with a book signing and a discussion, in which she talked about her journey translating her highly-acclaimed debut graphic novel and the obstacles she faced while translating the deep-rooted Egyptian cultural nuances in order to reach English-speaking readers.</p>
<p>After her success with the webcomic series, &ldquo;Qahera&rdquo;, Deena Mohamed's debut novel&nbsp;&ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo; was awarded Best Graphic Novel and the Grand Prize of the Cairo Comix Festival in 2017. &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo; was originally released in Arabic and split into 3 parts, before getting picked up by the esteemed publishing house, Pantheon Books, which is responsible for publishing many distinguished graphic novels, such as &ldquo;Persepolis&rdquo;, &ldquo;Habibi&rdquo;, and &ldquo;Maus&rdquo;.</p>
<p>&ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo; embraces and celebrates the kiosk culture while fusing it with urban fantasy in a whimsical alternate version of Egypt where wishes can be purchased. The story follows 3 individuals from radically different backgrounds: Aziza, Nour, and Shokry, who are only linked by a modest Kiosk where the three of them buy a first-class wish from.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>The Genesis Of &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo;</strong></span></p>
<p>Deena explained that her admiration for the Egyptian kiosk culture was the starting point for &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo;, she said, &ldquo;Originally I wanted to write a story about Kiosks, I wanted to draw them actually, more than to write about them, and I wanted to write a story that was more based on fantasy because I have just finished doing a webcomic and the webcomic was very satirical and I wanted to do something that was more of a narrative, more of a longer story. When I started with "Shubeik Lubeik". She added, &ldquo;I wanted to do a kiosk and I wanted it to sell a magical object, and then I thought of a wish, and then I had to think of what kind of a world where you could sell a wish in.&rdquo;</p>
<p>The meticulous world-building of &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo; was an easier task for Deena to create, but bringing it all to life was the real challenge, Deena said, &ldquo;I just came up with the world and then I put the rules for it and I came up with the story, it was like in three hours I outlined all of it and then I spent six years drawing it. You always pay for your ideas.&rdquo;</p>
<p>&ldquo;It was from the beginning I knew that the Kiosk would be the link between the stories.&rdquo; Deena said, &ldquo;When I was coming up with the concept of wishes I was thinking of what people would wish for, so I immediately was thinking about grief, and then I was thinking about happiness, and I was thinking about health, so I already know what the stories are going to be about.&rdquo;</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>The Expansion Of &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo;</strong></span></p>
<p>The first version of &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo; which Deena self-published in 2017, went through many changes over the years, with added pages expanding the story, Deena explained that by saying, &ldquo;In terms of editorial, the first part you can kind of see it grow because when I self-published it, it was around 80 pages, and then when I published it with Dar El-Mahrousa after it won the award, it was 120 pages because the award was a residency in France with other comic artists. When I went to France I realized that other comics artists put a lot of effort into their work and I was kind of jealous, and I felt like I could do better, so I decided to go back and add maybe 30-40 pages, and then for the English [version] I added another 20 pages.&rdquo;</p>
<p>She also talked about why the first part was the one that got the most expansion of the three, &ldquo;From the stories&rsquo; perspective, the first part was so hard to reach the final edition for it, but the second and third parts were very planned, so the third part nothing changed in the English [version] because I had already put in my maximum effort for the Arabic [version]. In the second part, there are a few changes in the English [version] but it&rsquo;s also not that significant. So actually I&rsquo;m interested now in the people who have read the Arabic [version], how they feel about the English [version].&ldquo;</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>The Journey Of Publishing &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo;</strong></span></p>
<p>Deena talked about her journey of publishing her debut novel, and how strenuous it is to pursue a career in such a niche market &ldquo;You still can&rsquo;t make a living publishing graphic novels, so the only reason I was able to publish &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo; in Arabic was because of the translation. I actually sold the translation before I sign the contract with El-Mahrousa in Egypt.&rdquo; Then she added, &ldquo;We have several really amazing Egyptian comic artists here, and they also have to sell translations or get a grant in order to finish [making] graphic novels in Arabic. Some people can draw a page a day, and some people take a week to draw a page, so if you imagine how long it takes to draw a graphic novel, it&rsquo;s a very time-intensive task and it needs a lot of money actually&rdquo;.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Translating &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo; &amp; The Decision To Keep It From Right-To-Left</strong></span></p>
<p>Deena also shared her taxing experience of translating &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo;, she said, &ldquo;Translating is really hard because when I was writing the Arabic parts I wasn&rsquo;t thinking about how I would translate it, it was a problem for my future self, so I didn&rsquo;t really consider how difficult it&rsquo;s going to be because they [the characters] speak in lots of different dialects and there&rsquo;s a lot of localized things in it."</p>
<p>The English &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo; isn&rsquo;t published like the traditional from-left-to-right English graphic novels, but it&rsquo;s read from right to left just like its Arabic counterpart, Denna talked about what led her to this decision saying, &ldquo;Keeping it right to left for me was important because when I was translating it, I realized that it&rsquo;s always going to feel like a translation, and I liked that.&rdquo; She continued, &ldquo;When I read manga or when I watch something that is subtitled I like the feeling that it&rsquo;s translated. Like no one reads manga and thinks it&rsquo;s originally in English like you know it&rsquo;s originally in Japanese and you can tell it&rsquo;s a translation and you still enjoy it, so I wanted to keep the same feeling, that you know it&rsquo;s a translation but you still enjoy it&rdquo;.</p>
<p>She also talked about how she convinced Pantheon of that decision, &ldquo;I asked Pantheon if we can keep it right to left and they actually didn&rsquo;t mind at all. They kind of care about the production a lot, Pantheon has published a lot of nice looking books, and they&rsquo;ve also published a lot of Japanese hardcover books and they published them from right to left, so it wasn&rsquo;t too difficult to convince them&rdquo;.</p>
<p>However, the most crucial reason for keeping the graphic novel from right to left was the Arabic calligraphy, Deena clarified, &ldquo;The short answer for why I had to keep it from right to left is because the wishes in &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo; are made of Arabic calligraphy, and you can&rsquo;t flip it", she continued, &ldquo;the flow of the story kept stopping at the wishes, so I think that&rsquo;s part of the decision to keep it right-to-left, and I think it made a big difference, even in the way people receive it, it&rsquo;s like a novelty to them.&rdquo;</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>The Difference Between The Reception Of The Arabic &amp; The English Versions</strong></span></p>
<p>When Deena was asked about the difference between the reception of the book in the Eastern and Western cultures, she replied, &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve learned through my career so far to stop predicting my audience because I will always think people will receive it in a certain way. I was aware, at least for the Arabic [version], I know what people like about it because it&rsquo;s been 3 parts and we have conversations about it, especially at Cairo Comix I see how people react to it every year, people message me online all the time about what they think of this part or that part. For the Arabic [version], people focus on the story more, they tend to focus on the characters, and the wishes, and the events, in the English [version] there were a lot of discussions about the infographics, so like the world itself.&rdquo;</p>
<p>She also opened up about her worries that English-speaking readers will face some sort of cultural barrier, she said, &ldquo;Before the English version came out I was definitely a little nervous because I was worried that the English-speaking readers wouldn&rsquo;t like it the same way the Egyptian readers would. It shouldn&rsquo;t be a good Egyptian comic; it should just be a good comic.&rdquo; Then she added, &ldquo;That was the part right before it came out, but now it&rsquo;s been out for a while and I know that people who have no experience with Egypt, or people who have no familiarity with the characters or the story still enjoy it, so I feel like in this part it worked out.&rdquo;</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What&rsquo;s Next For Deena Mohamed After &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo;?</strong></span></p>
<p>Finally, Deena talked a little bit about her future plans, and what is the next step after &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo;, &ldquo;I think with &ldquo;Shubeik Lubeik&rdquo;, the challenge was just to make it and then to publish it, for the next step, the challenge is to write something that you&rsquo;re proud of to an extent,&rdquo; she continued, &ldquo;it&rsquo;s not a measurement of quality, but a measurement of my own skill to be able to do something that is ambitious in a different way.&rdquo;</p>

<p><strong>A Brief About "El Dahih":</strong></p>
<p>Ahmed El Ghandour is a well-known Egyptian YouTuber and content creator, best known for his online persona &ldquo;Al-Dahih&rdquo;, who is a heavy researcher, specified in the field of the simplification of science in an easy and fun way to grab the audience&rsquo;s attention. He succeeded to do so and has created a huge fanbase.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Ahmed El Ghandour began his career by sharing his videos on YouTube in 2014, he explained that &ldquo;The idea came to me from my participation in a scientific competition at the British Embassy, where we presented a scientific idea in three minutes, and I was asked by many of the attendees to make videos on YouTube".</p>
<p>"El Dahih's" name quickly became a household name, and he was shortlisted for the 2019 IBC International Award for Most Influential Youth in Media.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>The Subject Of The Live Show:</strong></p>
<p>The live show was hosted in Zed Park, El Sheikh Zayed. For his first live show, Ahmed El Ghandour chose to talk about the concept of &ldquo;The Theory of Everything&rdquo;, which is a hypothetical equation that would explain the physics of the entire world and defines the cosmological structure of the universe&rdquo;. Such a theory was the focus of two of the most famous scientist and geniuses Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. He also explained the components of the atoms and how scientists were able to break the universe into the tiniest building units.&nbsp;</p>
<p>With a very detailed and animated presentation, El Ghandour was able to simplify such heavy and complex topics in a way that allows all types of audiences to comprehend them easily.</p>

<p><strong>Physics, EL Ghandour's Passion:</strong></p>
<p>A few of the attendees expressed that they prefer it when the subject is history-based and not science-oriented, and when asked about the reason why he chose this topic as his first live show topic, he explained that he genuinely loves physics and has always been fascinated with the amount of knowledge and understanding that comes with learning physics, and that's why he wanted to honor his favorite topic.</p>
<p>El Ghandour also promised the audience that there is going to be lots of new content and projects and that he is doing his very best to produce useful and time-worthy videos. The audience greeted this news with enthusiasm and cheers.&nbsp;</p>

 Nile FM Exclusive: A Recap Of "El Dahih’s" First-Ever Live Show In Egypt

<p>Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, inaugurated the thirty-third edition of the Youth Salon, entitled "Art...The Horizon of The Future" at the Palace of Arts in the Cairo Opera House.</p>
<p>This edition includes 167 artists, with a total number of 187 artworks in various fields of arts, from photography to painting to sculpting to plastic arts. The participating artists compete for cash prizes.</p>

<p><strong>"Look At Me"&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>One of the projects, titled "Look At Me" was built by Mohamed Osama and was constructed as a child mannequin, attached to it was a computer screen and a camera with a sensor that turns the screen on when someone looks directly at it.&nbsp; The idea behind this project is the ever-growing gap between parents and their children. The child, represented by the mannequin, is screaming for attention and does not interact with others except when he receives the attention he longs for, represented in the screen that only lights up when looked directly at it. The screen showcases a series of videos that reflects the inner feelings that the child is feeling, like confusion or fear. When not looked directly at it, the screen goes static.</p>

<p><strong>&nbsp;&ldquo;Made In Dreams&rdquo;</strong></p>
<p>Another project entitled &ldquo;Made In Dreams&rdquo; by Hagar Barakat, is made out of a box that has two wheels on both sides and a hole to look through in the middle of it. As you look at it, you turn both wheels that switch different images inside the box. When you find the two photos that best represent you, you&rsquo;ll get a decoded message that explains the reason behind your choice. When asked about the inspiration behind her project, Hagar explained that &ldquo;I have relied on my imagination and love for surrealism to make me happy, and this is exactly what I wanted to transfer to people. I wanted to give them a glimpse of how my mind works. By giving them a series of images to choose from, then helping them understand the reason behind their choice gives them a satisfaction that I am happy to give&rdquo;.</p>

<p><strong>Legos And Instruments</strong></p>
<p>Mohamed Medhat took part in the exhibition with his surreal painting, made out of absurd creatures either holding lego pieces or musical instruments or sometimes both. Medhat explained that he usually uses the symbolism of the legos to resemble a new step that one takes to become a better person and reach your dream. The idea behind the painting is that the people you look up to are exactly the people who are distracting you from your goals and this is the negative impact of comparing. Also, the metaphor of the music in the painting is representative of the idea of &ldquo;focusing&rdquo; and being a one-minded-no-distraction kind of person and not falling into the negative effect of comparing yourself to others.</p>

<p><strong>The Holiness Of A Family Bond</strong></p>
<p>Enjy Gamal contributed to the exhibition with a one-of-a-kind photo that encompasses a couple in a tight alley heading toward the &ldquo;light&rdquo;. The light here represented the holiness that the church and it represented their bond and the vows they once took &ldquo;till death do us part&rdquo;. The usage of blacks and whites, with all the shades of grey in between, gives the photo a sense of universalization.</p>

In 1964, Fairouz, her husband Assi Rahbani, and her brother-in-law, Mansour Rahbani, visited El Quds for the second time to participate in a celebration of hymns on the occasion of Pope Paul VI&rsquo;s visit to the Holy City, which was at that time under Jordanian rule.</p>
<p>People gathered around her as she walked through the streets of El Quds, and they began complaining to her about their concerns, and a Palestinian woman stopped her and told her about the suffering of the Palestinian people, which moved Fairouz. The Palestinian woman decided to give her a vase, and that was the beginning of the story of the song &ldquo;Ancient The Ancient Quds.&rdquo; After she returned from her visit, Fairouz informed Assi and Mansour of the situation, and her brother-in-law Mansour Rahbani was inspired to write these words. &nbsp;</p>

<p>In the year 2017, Fairouz&nbsp;returned with a special hymn about Palestine, in which she prayed to God for better living conditions in El Quds, under the title &ldquo;How Long, O Lord&rdquo;.</p>

<p>According to Warner Music and Edith Piaf's estate, a new biopic about her life would use artificial intelligence to let the French singer tell her own story, but there is no release date has been set.</p>
<p>It also comes after the Beatles' most recent hit, "Now And Then," became their first UK number one single in 54 years last week with a little assistance from artificial intelligence.</p>
<p>Paul McCartney, who is 81 years old, and Ringo Starr, who is 83 years old, completed "Now And Then" last year. It includes guitar parts that the late George Harrison recorded in 1995.</p>
<p>AI will be given hundreds of voice and image samples, some of which are over 80 years old, for the singer of the French standards "La vie en Rose" and "Non, je ne regrette rien," in an effort to "further enhance the authenticity and emotional impact of her story" and recreate her distinct style.</p>
<p>Her biggest successes will be from the original recordings, according to Warner.</p>
<p>The singer's voice will narrate the 90-minute film, which will alternate between Paris and New York between 1920 and 1960 and feature "aspects of her life" that have never been seen before.</p>

<p>Zack de la Rocha was seen participating in a pro-Palestine march instead of attending the band&rsquo;s Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony. The Rage Against The Machine frontman was spotted at the march on Washington in support of Palestine.</p>
<p>Rage Against the Machine was inducted into the Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame on November 3rd, and guitarist Tom Morello was present to give an acceptance speech on behalf of the band. On the other hand, Zack de la Rocha was prepping to march on Washington, D.C., in support of Palestine. He was among thousands of protestors calling for a ceasefire on the Palestinians.</p>
<p>Morello said in his speech, &ldquo;The lesson I learn from Rage fans is that music can change the world,&rdquo; he continued. &ldquo;Daily, I hear from fans who have been affected by our music and in turn have affected the world in significant ways&hellip; When protest music is done right, you can hear a new world emerging in the songs, skewering the oppressors of the day and hinting that there might be more to life than what was handed to us. Can music change the world? The whole aim is to change the world or at a bare minimum, to stir up a shit load of trouble.&rdquo;&nbsp;</p>

Zack De La Rocha Attends Pro-Palestine Protest Instead Of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction

<p>The co-founder and chief operating officer at The TriFactory, Seifeldin Fawzy was Nile FM's guest with Rob Stevens &amp; Nadine Hisham on "The Big Breakfast", and he talked about all the details of the highly anticipated upcoming Pyramids Half Marathon.</p>
<p><strong>What was the latest event for the TriFactory?</strong></p>
<p>We had El Gouna half marathon just a couple of weeks ago.</p>
<p>I think we had almost a thousand people running in El Gouna this time, which was great and that&rsquo;s not even our biggest event of the year, it&rsquo;s the Pyramids Half Marathon, and all year long we&rsquo;ve been gearing up for that event, and it&rsquo;s taking place on December 23rd.</p>
<p><strong>What&rsquo;s different in this year&rsquo;s Pyramids Half Marathon?</strong></p>
<p>Every year we try to improve, the first year was in 2019, so we are celebrating a half-decade of the Pyramids half marathon, which is a huge milestone for us, and this year, for the first time we&rsquo;ve received international accreditation from AIMS, which is the Association of International Marathons, which is really huge for Egypt and for us, and it puts the Pyramids Half Marathon alongside races like the New York marathon, and Paris marathon. It&rsquo;s a really big deal.</p>
<p>And we are improving every year, the quality of the race itself, the quality of the organization, and I think people who come to the race kind of trust the TriFactory, and they know what to expect.</p>
<p><strong>How did the TriFactory get the AIMS international accreditation for The Pyramids Half Marathon?</strong></p>
<p>We had to go through a rigorous application process, which we&rsquo;ve shown the track record of the event throughout the years since 2019, and we had to invite a few experts to come and take a look at the surroundings, take a look at the event itself, and we went to an international conference in Osaka, Japan, where we presented our case, and we earned the accreditation.</p>
<p><strong>Can you tell us more about the process of organizing such a huge event like The Pyramids Half Marathon? &nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>There&rsquo;s a lot that goes into it. We are there one week in advance to kind of set-up everything. We have this amazing start and finish line, which we kind of made really popular, it&rsquo;s a double-decker, so we are all up in the morning cheering on the runners as they go underneath and start their race through history.</p>
<p>It&rsquo;s a lot of work. 4000 people take a lot of effort from the TriFactory, but we do our best to make it as smooth as possible, and as fantastic as possible when it comes to organizing this event for all of our runners. &nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>What are the new technologies that the TriFactory will be using in the next edition of Pyramids Half Marathon? &nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>We&rsquo;ve moved past the stopwatches now; we have an automatic timing system. So every single runner who comes has a race number on their chest, and when you run it automatically tells you the finish time when you cross the finish line, down to the seconds, and it&rsquo;s the same system that is used at the Olympic games, so it&rsquo;s a really high-tech system, and at the same time we have our own application called &ldquo;Racemate&rdquo;, which is a major partner at the event, and it allows you to live-track your performance, so your friends and family can be at home watching how fast or slow you may be running at the pyramids</p>
<p><strong>Why did you choose the pyramids as the location of the half marathon?</strong></p>
<p>For a number of reasons but primarily because every country in the world has this major marathon or major running race that they&rsquo;re famous for, the United Kingdom has the London Marathon, which is a big one, and it passes in front of Buckingham Palace and so on. When you think about Paris, it passes in front of the Eiffel Tower, when you think about New York it&rsquo;s the same thing, it passes in front of all the major buildings in Manhattan, and so on.</p>
<p>So we thought about what really represents Egypt&hellip;The Pyramids are really special and it&rsquo;s kind of our major location when it comes to thinking about our country across the world.</p>
<p>So many people come from abroad, and so many of them are seeing the Pyramids of Giza for the first time, and not just seeing them but getting to experience them up close, and run beside them and finish the race, and go take your race medal, and take a picture right in front of them, that&rsquo;s super special, and it&rsquo;s really a bucket list distention, and that&rsquo;s what made the Pyramids Half Marathon a bucket list running race.</p>
<p><strong>What is the long-term vision of the Pyramids Half Marathon and the TriFactory?</strong></p>
<p>Long-term we just want to keep on growing the Pyramids half-marathon to put it alongside those major marathons across the world.</p>
<p>We want people to think &ldquo;If I run in New York, and I run in LA, and I run in Chicago and Tokyo, I want to run in the Pyramids. That&rsquo;s the next one on my list&rdquo; and that&rsquo;s something we really believe in, we&rsquo;ve been working really hard on it with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and the association of international marathons, to really make the Pyramids Half Marathon something that&rsquo;s as strong as any other running race in the world.</p>
<p><strong>What is the piece of advice that you&rsquo;d give to anyone going to the Pyramids Half Marathon for the first time? &nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>The best thing to do is to approach it with an open mindset, it&rsquo;s a fun race, it&rsquo;s a fun experience, and if your goal is just finishing the race, you can take it a little bit more easy. If your goal is to get a personal best or a really strong finish time, then maybe you can research online, we have free training programs and you can use &ldquo;Racemate&rdquo; to train for the race as well beforehand. So we really provide all the tools to make it as easy as possible for you to have a great time, and race through history with us on December 23rd.</p>

<p>Chair Of PEC International Council John Newbigin and Director Of Creative Economy At The British Council Rehana Mughal&nbsp;were Nile FM's Guest On "The Big Breakfast".&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Can you tell us more about the international forum for creative initiative, cultural policies, and the most important discussion points the forum focuses on?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Rehana:</strong> We have a group of people called the Global Creative Economy forum that we worked through and these are people who operate around the world in every continent and island nation and they&rsquo;re coming to Cairo. They&rsquo;re arriving today actually. So they are the center of this forum because they&rsquo;re providing insights about how creative economies around the world are growing. Now this is a growing area because there are so many opportunities for young people and young creative talents to engage with, expressing themselves through creativity but at the same time using this creativity as a means to make a living and to be an entrepreneur to set up their own businesses. The forum is focused on looking at what the shifting nature of the creative economy around the world and where the opportunities might be for young Egyptians, the talented creative people here to engage with those shifting narratives.</p>
<p><strong>What is a Creative Economy?</strong></p>
<p><strong>John:</strong> I have been involved in creating The Creative Economy Policies for the UK for the last 25 years and really, when I ask one of our senior administrators in our trade department, &ldquo;How do you define creative economy?&rdquo; She said, &ldquo;It is a state of mind.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Basically, it is all the areas where arts and technology come together and though a lot of it is activities that have been around since the world began, it is craft, it&rsquo;s dance, it&rsquo;s music, it&rsquo;s fashion. It is the things that we have been doing as long as we&rsquo;ve been human beings, but it has been transformed by digital technology and it has been added to by film, TV, and video games, which of course now it&rsquo;s a huge area around the world and marketing, advertising, and architecture, there are a lot of industries that have a cultural component as well as a technology component and that&rsquo;s really what we define as creative economy.</p>
<p>The interesting thing for us on the international forum is that every country has a slightly different definition and everybody is exploring new ways to make it grow. One of the reasons we are having this event thing in Cairo this week is because Africa as a continent is really the fastest growing area in the creative economy anywhere in the world, East Asia of course is also growing in Europe and in North America and Latin America, but Africa is the continent where everybody expects with this great explosion of activity going on and it&rsquo;s probably because of kids having access to digital networks and thinking about how traditional culture forum can be played out.</p>
<p><strong>The British Council and Creative Industries Policy &amp; Evidence Centre (PEC) are collaborating on this initiative, can you tell us more about this collaboration?</strong></p>
<p><strong>John:</strong> The PEC, Policy &amp; Evidence Centre, was set up by the UK Government to look at the relationship between universities and the emerging creative economy, but it was very much focused on what is happening in the UK, and the UK only.</p>
<p>Our concern is that there is good learning going on, good practice going on all around the world, and it is important for us in the UK to be plugged into what other people are thinking and for all of us to be changing ideas because no one has got a complete formula on this.</p>
<p>So the British Council generously offered this as a part of its contribution to the Policy &amp; Evidence Centre to fund an international forum. It pulls together 15 or 16 people from all around the world. Some academics, some investors, some practitioners. We meet together, we discuss issues that reflect on the needs of the creative economy.&rdquo;</p>

<p><strong>How can a creative economy contribute to societal growth and development in Africa and specifically in Egypt?</strong></p>
<p><strong>John:</strong> There are a number of things. One is this is an an area that is generating jobs very very fast and so many countries are suffering from a growing issue of youth unemployment. That often means that the most talented young people leave the country. One of the things about these businesses is that they are inherently attractive to young people, they&rsquo;re people businesses, you can&rsquo;t just replace them with technologies like a car factory, where you can make twice as many cars by having robots rather than humans. These are businesses that require the emotional intelligence, the social sensitivities of real people.</p>
<p>The other thing is that what we are finding all around the world is that the creative economy generates innovation wide across the economy. It starts in a way with leisure and entertainment at the heart of it, but the creative industries are now influencing education, health, engineering, and all kinds of other aspects of the economy, benefitting from creative, innovative ideas that the creative entrepreneurs come up with.&rdquo;</p>
<p>2021 was the United Nation&rsquo;s year of the creative economy&rsquo;s contribution to sustainable development so for the United Nations, one of the key aspects of the creative economy is it helps us develop a more sustainable economy as well, that&rsquo;s the other big dimension which is of interest to governments all around the world.</p>
<p><strong>Do you think Artificial intelligence is a threat to the creative economy?</strong></p>
<p><strong>John:</strong> Artificial intelligence is here and it&rsquo;s not going to go away as you know the world is divided into people who think it&rsquo;s going to be a game-changer in a positive way, and people who think it&rsquo;s a huge existential threat. It&rsquo;s a tool, and it&rsquo;s going to assist us to express creativity in new ways, to explore creativity in new ways, of course, it&rsquo;s important that human creatives are recognized for who they are and we don&rsquo;t allow machines and humans to become tangled with each other but I think we have to think of AI as a positive contribution to being able to express talent and creative ideas and exchange creative ideas in new and innovative ways, so we need to embrace it and think about it in a positive way.</p>
<p>In Creative England, an organization that I helped set up a few years ago, their slogan was &ldquo;Talent is everywhere but opportunity is not&rdquo; So what we are trying to do, and what this forum is about is how we connect all the talents that are out there with more opportunities for people to make a living, to make a good livelihood for themselves, but also to contribute to their society and their economies.</p>
<p><strong>What would you say are some of the most important creative industries that are expected to grow in Egypt?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Rehana:</strong> In Egypt, you have such a strong track record in music, in fashion, in literature, so the strong foundation is already there with the developments of new technologies it enables young people to be able to increase their reach of who might get exposure to their creative talent whether that fashion or music or literature or anything else.</p>
<p>So we are really excited about seeing these particular areas grow but also excited about what will happen, through collaboration between the different elements of creative industries because new technologies have meant that people can start thinking about some of the traditional art forms in different ways, so you might be familiar with theatre becoming a more immersive experience or cinema, and going to see a film becoming more immersive experience with the use of new technologies but also through the use of how those different art forms are coming together and you can go for a night out which is actually an immersive experience rather than a very traditional sort of 2D cultural experience so I think particularly here in Egypt there is so much dynamic, creative talent and imagination and people move at pace and keen to collaborate.</p>
<p>So we are really looking forward to what&rsquo;s going to emerge.</p>
<p><strong>Can you tell us about the British Council&rsquo;s work in the creative economy and how this work contributes to Egypt?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Rehana:</strong> Our work in creative economy at the British Council focuses on three main areas one of which is leadership and learning, and we also focus on sector development and research insight and advocacy.</p>
<p>In the area of leadership and learning, we support those people that are working in the creative industries to develop their leadership skills, by connecting them with like-minded professionals in the UK but we also support people who are working for example in governments in policy training.</p>
<p>We have this hybrid model of policy training so you can do it a mixture of online and offline, we delivered it in about 13 countries so far and over 1000 people have been through our policy training scheme.</p>
<p>It&rsquo;s available in several languages and we are really delighted to be working with the Ministry of Culture here In Egypt to support them to participation in that policy training, and I&rsquo;m hoping later this week that we will also be in a position to sign a memorandum of understanding with the ministry of culture around creative economy and supporting creative economy here in Egypt.</p>
<p>in the area of research, insight, and advocacy we work in over 34 countries and we try to understand what are the key triggers in the creative economy, what are the trends? what are the opportunities? And develop the insight with a view to developing the right kind of projects in a country, and to support the cultural institutions to be able to take forward their ideas around what they like to do to grow and support their creative economy to thrive.</p>
<p>In the area of sector development, we support young creatives with a little bit of seed funding so they can set up their own enterprises and businesses, with a fair amount of that across the continent of Africa, and we also support professionals from Egypt and other countries around the world to come to the UK to see creative hubs and to see this kind of space that enables creatives to collaborate with each other and also to meet with professionals working in the sector.</p>
<p>We also focus very much on developing the talent pipeline, which is the next generation of young creatives that may choose to go to university or may choose to actually enter the creative industry from a young age and develop their skills on the job, so we try to find opportunities for them too. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Cause not everybody wants a formal education, not everybody can afford a formal education, and actually, young people today are leaning toward not going on a career that is lifelong, but actually having a bit more of a portfolio, more of a freelance career, but also being in charge of their employment and making the choices that effect their lives.</p>
<p><strong>You&rsquo;ve talked about all the successes that BC had in Egypt and in the African region, can you tell us about the most important successes they had in the UK?</strong></p>
<p><strong>John:</strong> There&rsquo;s a great Chinese/American musician called Yo Yo Ma, who runs an international orchestra, and one of his favorite sayings is &ldquo;Creativity happens when cultures overlap&rdquo; and one of the reasons the creative economy had been successful in the UK is because it is incredibly diverse, the range of people who contribute to it.</p>
<p>What makes our creative economy successful is that, it&rsquo;s a fusion of cultures from around the world, and the reason why it makes sense for us to be working so closely with the british council, is that it&rsquo;s about building cultural relationships and understanding, exchanging ideas, building trust between countries and between different traditions.</p>
<p>So I think the benefit that this is had for the UK, is if you connect us with an even wider range of really creative people, with creative thinking around the world, and that benefits us and hopefully it will benefit other people as well.</p>

<p>Egyptian Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar reviewed Egypt's efforts to provide health support to the Gaza Strip in today's&nbsp;Cabinet meeting.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Abdel Ghaffar said that&nbsp;the total number of people who received medical services from the Gaza Strip from November 1st to date is 9,447, including 1.932 children.</p>

<p>Abdel Ghaffar also explained that 71% of the cases continued to receive treatment in Egyptian hospitals.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Dr. Hossam&nbsp;Abdel Ghaffar, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, said that based on an assessment of the health situation of premature children coming from the Gaza Strip, 12 children were transported to the New Administrative Capital Hospital, by air ambulance, in&nbsp;light of&nbsp;instructions&nbsp;from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.</p>

<p>The Secretary-General of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate,&nbsp;Osama Abdel-Hay, stated in his speech during a press conference organized by Egypt's Syndicate of Journalists that 1,800 Egyptian doctors, including professors of the highest caliber, have volunteered to provide their assistance to treat the injured in Gaza.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Abdel-Hay also said that the volunteered doctors are willing to provide their assistance in Gaza or at the North Sinai hospitals.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Secretary-General of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate addressed the issue earlier this week in a statement shared on the syndicate's social media, in which he stressed that the Egyptian Medical Syndicate is ready to provide all forms of support to Gaza's hospitals from medical personnel, medical supplies, and medicines to treat the wounded.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The track unifies multiple artists from the Arab world such as Marwan Moussa,&nbsp;Marwan Pablo, Amir Eid, Dina El Wedidi, Afroto, Saif Safadi, Dana Salah, Ghalia Chaker, Nordo, Saif Shroof, Akhras, Issam AlNajjar, Balti, Wessam Qutub,&nbsp; Bataineh, Omar Rammal, Alyoung, Randar, Vortex, Small X, ALA, Fuad Gritli, Donia Wael, Zeyne, and Dafencii.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"Rajieen" is produced by Jordanian producer, Nasir Al-Bashir, who talked about the song in a recent interview with Nogoum FM, and said, "My friend&nbsp;Hayat Abu Samra and I saw what was happening in Gaza and she suggested that I make a song about that, and then we started talking to many artists and we noticed that they're waiting for an opportunity to show their solidarity with what was happening, and they immediately agreed to come to Amman to film the song".&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Under a deal on limited evacuation, dual citizens left Gaza Strip through Rafah crossing to Egypt, on Wedesday morning.</p>
<p>According to Reuters, around 80 wounded Palestinians accompanied by a family member would be allowed into Egypt through Rafah ccrossing.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Egypt has prepared a field hospital in Sheikh Zuwayed in Sinai to receive the wounded.</p>

<p>Popular short video-sharing app TikTok is hit with a $368 million fine for failing to protect children&rsquo;s privacy. This marks the first for TikTok to be punished for breaching Europe&rsquo;s strict data privacy rules.P</p>
<p>According to the investigation, the sign-up process for teens who use the app makes their accounts public by default, which allows anyone to view and comment on their videos and puts children under 13 at risk.</p>
<p>Even the family pairing feature on TikTok, which allows parents to manage the settings of their children&rsquo;s accounts wasn&rsquo;t secure enough, as it allowed direct messaging from users between the age of 16 and 17 without their consent.</p>
<p>In response to the fine TikTok said in a statement that it disagrees with the decision, &ldquo;particularly the level of the fine imposed&rdquo;, and they also pointed out that the criticisms are focused on features and settings dating back to three years ago.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meta platform announced that it will deprecate the &ldquo;Facebook News&rdquo; Feature, on Meta&rsquo;s social media app in the UK, France, and Germany, next December.</p>
<p>According to a <a href="https://about.fb.com/news/2023/09/an-update-on-facebook-news-in-europe/">statement from Meta</a>, they explained the reason behind that decision saying, &ldquo;This is part of an ongoing effort to better align our investments to our products and services people value the most. As a company, we have to focus our time and resources on things people tell us they want to see more of on the platform, including short form video&rdquo;.</p>
<p>Meta added, "We know that&nbsp;people don&rsquo;t come to Facebook for news&nbsp;and political content &ndash; they come to connect with people and discover new opportunities, passions and interests. News makes up less than 3% of what people around the world see in their Facebook feed, so news discovery is a small part of the Facebook experience for the vast majority of people".</p>
<p>&ldquo;Facebook News&rdquo; is a dedicated tab in the bookmarks section that spotlights news, and while users will still be able to view news articles from European news publishers, Meta won&rsquo;t form new commercial deals for news content.</p>
<p>It&rsquo;s noteworthy that Meta blocked news on its Facebook and Instagram platforms for all users in Canada in response to a new law that requires Meta to pay news publishers.</p>

<p>Zuckerberg gave an update on the situation on his Threads account, saying, &ldquo;I think we can all agree Elon isn&rsquo;t serious and it&rsquo;s time to move on, I offered a real date. Dana White offered to make this a legit competition for charity. Elon won&rsquo;t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead&rdquo;.</p>

<p>The owner of X (Formerly known as Twitter), Elon Musk, might actually deliver on his promise of fighting The CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, in a cage match that will be live-streamed on X, with all the earnings being donated to charity for veterans.</p>
<p>Musk posted on his X social media account, announcing, &ldquo;Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans&rdquo;, he also shared his preparations for the fight saying, &ldquo;Am lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight. Don&rsquo;t have time to work out, so I just bring them to work&rdquo;.</p>

<p>Zuckerberg responded on his Instagram stories to Musk, saying, &ldquo;Shouldn&rsquo;t we use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity?&rdquo;, he also screenshotted Musk&rsquo;s preparation post and replied to it, saying, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m ready today, I suggested Aug 26 when he first challenged, but he hasn&rsquo;t confirmed. Not holding my breath&rdquo;.</p>
<p>It&rsquo;s worth mentioning that Musk brought up the idea of a cage match back in June when Zuckerberg announced the launch of Threads.</p>

<p>The X/Twitter account of the controversial rapper, Kanye West, which was suspended eight months ago, has been restored after he promised that he won&rsquo;t be posting any anti-semitic or discriminatory content.</p>
<p>Ye&rsquo;s account was banned from Twitter last December after he shared an anti-sematic image, following that incident the owner of Twitter, Elon Musk said that Kanye is banned for violating the platform&rsquo;s rules against &ldquo;incitement to violence&rdquo;.</p>

<p>X, formerly known as Twitter, reinstated the account of West earlier this week, according to The <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/x-formerly-known-as-twitter-reinstates-kanye-wests-account-7c8c70d2">Wall Street Journal</a>, which cited an anonymous source saying that the account was restored &ldquo;after receiving reassurance that he wouldn&rsquo;t use the platform to share antisemitic or otherwise harmful language&rdquo;</p>
<p>It&rsquo;s worth mentioning that last week, Musk, announced that he&rsquo;s rebranding Twitter. The newly appointed CEO of X, Linda Yaccarino has disclosed that the new platform will include audio, video, messaging, payment, and banking services.</p>

<p>&nbsp;The CEO of Tesla and Space X has changed the name of Twitter to X Corp and recently teased through a series of tweets that he desires to change the blue bird logo to just the letter &ldquo;X&rdquo;, saying, &ldquo;Soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds&rdquo;, Musk Continued, &ldquo;If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we&rsquo;ll make go live worldwide tomorrow&rdquo;.</p>
<p>Musk also posted a flickering video of an X overtaking the bird and pinned it to the top of his profile, after thousands of Twitter users sent him design suggestions for the new logo.</p>

<p>Egypt's Entrepreneur Awards (EEA), the first platform in Egypt that recognises, and connects Egypt's most innovative, successful, and resilient entrepreneurs, announced a total of 35 shortlisted candidates, as selected by 38 prominent jury members across 11 categories.</p>

<p>Six years ago, Nintendo released &ldquo;The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild&rdquo;, the new entry to their flagship series, which was the first significant exclusive for the Nintendo Switch.</p>
<p>At that time the teasers of &ldquo;Breath of the Wild&rdquo; had fans worried as it indicated that the game will adopt a modern take on the open-world formula, and will step away from the traditional characteristics and mechanics of the previous games, however, when &ldquo;Breath of the Wild&rdquo; was released, it laid all that skepticism to rest and became one of the best-selling games of all time, won &ldquo;Game of the Year&rdquo; award, revolutionized the nonlinear approach in the open-world game design, and became the main influence and the outline for many great games such as &ldquo;Elden Ring&rdquo;, &ldquo;Genshin Impact&rdquo;, and &ldquo;Horizon: Forbidden West&rdquo;</p>

If you were not a fan of the first game and you got overwhelmed by the sheer volume of it, &ldquo;Tears&rdquo; most likely won&rsquo;t win you over, in fact, it might overwhelm you even more.</p>
<p>However, if you happened to be from the vast majority who adored &ldquo;BotW&rdquo;, then you will get exactly what you asked for in more blustering quantities, with more enemy variety, more mind-bending shrines, and much more Hyrule to explore.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Just like the initial structure of &ldquo;BotW&rdquo;, you gain and learn to use new abilities in the introductory area of the game, then the game launches you into its extremely vast open world, and you&rsquo;re basically free to do whatever you want in any order you like. You can even head straight to the finale of the game if you know your way around, however, exploration is the name of the game in &ldquo;Tears&rdquo;, beside the main quest there are dozens upon dozens of caves, wells, and sky islands to check out.</p>
<p>Even though the map of Hyrule is the same as &ldquo;BotW&rdquo;, it feels completely fresh and different with new enemies and secrets to explore, more mechanics such as an advanced and creative building system, and weapon fusion. If that&rsquo;s not enough for you, there are more layers to Hyrule now as you can explore the depth below it, and the sky islands above it, and each one has its own self-contained map.</p>

<p>The extreme sense of familiarity in &ldquo;Tears of the Kingdom&rdquo; is the most powerful tool at its disposal, but it can also be its most conspicuous flaw, as the few hours you spend in Hyrule after the ambitious introductory area, can get a bit dull and derivative, it&rsquo;s not till the game starts to introduce new elements, that you start enjoying the exploration again.</p>
<p>&ldquo;Tears of the Kingdom&rdquo; is built on the tremendously solid foundations of &ldquo;Breath of the Wild&rdquo;. It&rsquo;s exceedingly immense to the point that you barely scratch the surface in your first 100 hours, and raises the bar once more for the upcoming open-world games to be more immersive and interactive.</p>

<p>According to the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Egypt's tourism rates climbed by more than 36% in October 2023, representing growth that is eight times greater than the global tourism rate of 4.5% during the same period.</p>
<p>In October 2023, around 1.3 million tourists from 80 different countries visited Egypt, representing an 8% increase from October 2022, meanwhile, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities plans to build 25,000 new hotel rooms by the middle of 2024 as part of a bigger strategy to attract 30 million tourists by 2028.</p>
<p>According to Central Bank of Egypt estimates, tourism income climbed by 26.8% in the fiscal year 2022/2023, reaching around USD 13.6 billion, up from USD 10.7 billion the previous year.&nbsp;</p>
