<p>60 years ago, two century-defining bands met for the first time, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones reshaped the rock music scene and influenced multiple generations of artists, and it looks like finally, the two bands will put their friendly rivalry aside and The Stones will collaborate with the two remaining members of The Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, on an upcoming record produced by 2021 Grammy producer of the year, Andrew Watt.</p>
<p>According to <a href="https://variety.com/2023/music/news/rolling-stones-paul-mccartney-recording-music-ringo-starr-1235529654/">Variety</a> the album&rsquo;s production is nearing the mixing phase, with the recording session taking place recently in Los Angeles. The forthcoming album will be The Rolling Stone&rsquo;s first album with original material since the 2005 album &ldquo;A Bigger Bang&rdquo;.</p>

<p>Keith Richards hinted that the new Stones record will most likely include material that was recorded with the band&rsquo;s founding legendary drummer Charlie Watts, who passed away in 2021 at the age of 80, as Richards said, &ldquo;Let me put it this way, you haven&rsquo;t heard the last of Charlie Watts&rdquo;.</p>
<p>The collaboration between The Beatles and The Stones is a breakthrough as the relations between the two bands fluctuated through the years. In 2021, McCartney stated that the Stones were &ldquo;a blues cover band&hellip; I think our net was cast a bit wider than theirs&rdquo;, and Jagger took it lightly and joked at an LA show that McCartney was in the audience and was about to join them for a blues cover.</p>
