Singer and songwriter, Shawn Mendes took to his social media to announce that his upcoming fifth studio album, "Shawn" will be pushed back to be released on the 15th of November instead of the 18th of October.

Mendes said in a statement released on his social media, "My team and I have decided to push the album release date to November 15th. We just need a little bit more time to bring some new inspiration and ideas to life. I love you guys thank you for being so patient, I can&rsquo;t wait to see you guys at the next few shows".&nbsp;

&nbsp;The popstar announced his upcoming self-titled album back on the 31st of July, he also revealed the 12-song tracklist, he also released 2 singles, "Why Why Why&rdquo; and &ldquo;Isn&rsquo;t That Enough&rdquo; on the 8th of August.
Mendes also released a trailer for the album on his social media and captioned it with, "2 years ago I felt like I had absolutely no idea who I was. A year ago I couldn&rsquo;t step into a studio without falling into complete panic. So to be here right now with 12 beautiful finished songs feels like such a gift. Honestly thank god for my friends and family", he added, "Life can be brutal but having a small group of people you deeply trust to walk you through makes it so much better. I have no idea how I would have made it through the last couple of years let alone make an album without you".
