<p>Sabrina Carpenter isn&rsquo;t slowing down anytime soon. Less than a year after her chart-climbing Short n&rsquo; Sweet album, she&rsquo;s already back with her seventh studio project &mdash; Man&rsquo;s Best Friend &mdash; officially arriving on August 29, 2025.</p>

<p>And no, she didn&rsquo;t just say it with a post &mdash; she owned it. While some called it cheeky and empowering, others labeled it regressive and problematic. Sabrina hasn&rsquo;t addressed the heat yet &mdash; and honestly, she probably won&rsquo;t. She&rsquo;s always let the music speak first. But commenting on the song she stated "became to me something I can look back on that will score the mental montage to the very confusing and fun young adult years of life."</p>

<p>What we do know? The announcement came with a note from her heart &mdash; thanking icons like Stevie Nicks, Dolly Parton, Donna Summer and ABBA for the inspiration, and hinting that this album wasn&rsquo;t pre-planned. It just&hellip; poured out of her.</p>

<p>We&rsquo;ve already had a first taste with the lead single Manchild, which dropped on 5th June . It&rsquo;s synthy, flirty and cuts with just enough country twang to feel new. Sabrina called it &ldquo;a loving eye roll&rdquo; &mdash; written with Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen &mdash; and it already has fans quoting her line about men being the reason she&rsquo;s &ldquo;so tested.&rdquo;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Let&rsquo;s not forget &mdash; Short n&rsquo; Sweet gave Sabrina her biggest career moment yet, landing her multiple Grammy wins and sending Espresso straight into pop stratosphere. She&rsquo;s also been dominating festival season with appearances at Primavera, Hyde Park and Lollapalooza&mdash;and she&rsquo;s hitting the road again this fall with a fresh tour lineup featuring Olivia Dean and Amber Mark.</p>

<p>So whether the internet agrees on the cover or not &mdash; one thing&rsquo;s clear: Sabrina Carpenter knows exactly what she&rsquo;s doing. And if Man&rsquo;s Best Friend is anything like her last album? You&rsquo;re going to have it on loop till summer ends.</p>
