BLACKPINK delivered a dose of 90s nostalgia at Wembley Stadium with a surprise cover of the Spice Girls&rsquo; iconic hit &ldquo;Wannabe,&rdquo; nearly 30 years after its release. &ldquo;If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends&rdquo; hit differently this time&mdash;sung by JENNIE, LISA, JISOO, and ROS&Eacute; as they closed out their second and final night in London.
It wasn&rsquo;t their first time performing the track. In 2023, the group sang &ldquo;Wannabe&rdquo; during a lively Carpool Karaoke&nbsp;segment with James Corden on The Late Late Show. LISA shared that she was &ldquo;obsessed&rdquo; with the Spice Girls growing up, while JENNIE reflected on how each member had such a strong persona. Corden even gave the group playful Spice-style nicknames: ROS&Eacute; as Aussie Pink, LISA as Boss Pink, JENNIE as Shy Pink, and JISOO as Nail Pink.
