<p>Colombian singer and songwriter, Karol G, made Egypt a worldwide trend across social media platforms with her new song and music video titled &ldquo;Cairo&rdquo;. The music video reached second place in the worldwide trends on Youtube and has more than 10M views in just 3 days.</p>
<p>The music video was shot to showcase some of Egypt&rsquo;s most prominent attractions, such as the Pyramids, the Citadel, Sultan Hassan Mosque, and the Qasr el Nile Bridge, among other Egyptian streets and iconic areas.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Karol G expressed her deep connection with Egypt with a post that she shared on Instagram saying, &ldquo;Besides being one of my Top 5 places in the world that I dreamed of visiting, I had a vision a little more ambitious, which is closing the streets, the Sphinx and the pyramids to shoot a video that was always in my mind&rdquo;.</p>
<p>Karol G is a sensational Colombian reggaeton and Latin trap artist, who was launched into stardom after her track with Puerto Rican rapper and singer, Bad Bunny, "Ahora Me Llama" which became later on the lead single for her debut album "Unstoppable", released in 2017. She was nominated for various awards such as Billboard Latin Music Awards and Premios Lo Nuestro.</p>
