<p>This week's box office witnessed one of the tightest races for the top spot, as the latest entry in "The Conjuring Universe", "The Nun II", which topped the box office last week, was competing with the new&nbsp;Hercule Poirot mystery, "A Haunting in Venice".&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;"The Nun II" is still leading the race with $14.7 million in its second weekend, despite the significant drop from its first&nbsp;$32.6 million weekend, and&nbsp;39% below its 2018 prequel "The Nun".&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;&ldquo;A Haunting in Venice&rdquo; is behind &ldquo;The Nun II&rdquo;, as the movie grossed $14.5 million domestically in it's opening weekend, which is moderately better than the opening of its predecessor, "Death on the Nile" which grossed $12.8 million in it's opening weekend.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Denzel Washington's &ldquo;The Equalizer 3&rdquo;, dropped to third place with $7.2 million in its third week, which brings its total earnings to $73.7 million domestically, and $132.4 million globally. Meanwhile &ldquo;My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3&rdquo; took the fourth place with $4.7 million in its second weekend, bringing it's total earning to $18.5 million domestically.</p>
