This weekend, moviegoers made do with the second best, as a horde of holdovers kept the North American box office afloat in the absence of any new releases, with "The Beekeeper" leading the way in its third week of sales.
Jason Statham's film made $7.4 million, making it the highest-grossing film this weekend, with a domestic total of $42.3 million, and it also surpassed $100 million worldwide.

With $7.3 million, the musical adaptation of "Mean Girls", trailed closely behind "The Beekeeper" with&nbsp;$7.3 million, and the film has grossed $60.8 million domestically.

"Wonka" starring Timoth&eacute;e Chalamet came in third place as it grossed $5.9 million over its seventh weekend, bringing its total domestic sales close to $200 million.

The rom-com "Anyone But You" brought its total earnings to $71.2 million and came in the fifth spot, meanwhile "Migration" came in fourth and crossed the $100 million mark domestically with $5.1 million.&nbsp;
