Shereen Allam is the&nbsp;e-commerce advisor of The Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi), which aims to alleviate the financial and non-financial obstacles that small businesses&nbsp;owned by women face. In order to accomplish this, the We-Fi plans to mobilize over $1 billion in commercial and international financial institution (IFI) financing for organizations that offer loans, equity, capital, insurance products, buildings, connections to mentors and networks, and chances to connect with both domestic and international markets to female entrepreneurs.&nbsp;
Shereen Allam is also&nbsp;the founder of the Egypt-based association for Women&rsquo;s Total Advancement &amp; Development (AWTAD), a non-profit association that aims and collaborates with women all around Egypt to help them expand their small businesses from home, building youths' entrepreneurial potential and providing them with mentoring to launch small businesses.
