Cairo International Film Festival unveiled the complete lineup of the upcoming 45th edition of the festival, which will take place from the 13th to the 22nd of November.&nbsp;
The 45th edition of the festival will include 194 films from 72 countries around the world.&nbsp;
The&nbsp;Palestinian film, "Passing Dreams" was selected to be the opening film of the 45th edition, which will mark its world&nbsp;premiere. The movie is written and directed by&nbsp;Rashid Masharawi and stars&nbsp;Ashraf Barhom, Adel Abu Ayyash, and Emilia Massou.
From Zero Distance
CIFF also unveiled a new category titled "From Zero Distance", which celebrates Palestinian cinema by screening&nbsp;a series of short films released by Palestinian filmmaker, Rashid Masharawi, in response to the events following the 7th of October. The project brings together 22 directors from Gaza, offering a cinematic vision of everyday life and highlighting the hopes of Palestinians.&nbsp;
