Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated adaptation of Homer's &ldquo;The Odyssey&rdquo;, will be partly filmed on Sicily's "goat island" according to <a href="https://variety.com/2025/film/global/christopher-nolan-odyssey-shoot-sicily-1236287028/">Variety.</a>&nbsp;
The shooting is expected to take place in roughly two months on the island of Favignana, known as &ldquo;goat island,&rdquo; which is believed to be the place where Homer envisioned Odysseus landing with his motley crew to barbecue goats and stock up on food.&nbsp;
"The Odyssey" will have an all-star cast that includes huge names, some of them have worked with Nolan before, such as Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, and&nbsp;Robert Pattinson, and stars who will work with the renowned director for the first time such as Tom Holland,&nbsp;Zendaya,&nbsp;Lupita Nyong&rsquo;o, and Charlize Theron.&nbsp;
The historical epic is set to be released in theatres&nbsp;on July 17, 2026, three years after Nolan's last film "Oppenheimer", which&nbsp;became Nolan&rsquo;s&nbsp;biggest Box Office hit overseas&nbsp;with the film garnering over $960 million worldwide, and winning 7 Oscars, including&nbsp;Best Motion Picture, Best Performance by Actor in Leading Role,&nbsp;Best Performance by Actor in Supporting Role, and Best Achievement in Directing.&nbsp;&nbsp;
