<p>Held at the glitzy Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the night kicked off with none other than Jennifer Lopez, who didn&rsquo;t just host &mdash; she owned the stage with a high-energy medley that reminded everyone why she&rsquo;s still that girl.</p>
<p>And just when we thought things couldn&rsquo;t get more iconic, Janet Jackson pulled up to collect her well-deserved ICON Award, giving a performance that was pure nostalgia wrapped in power.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Then came Rod Stewart, who &mdash; after being introduced by his own kids (adorably calling him &ldquo;Papa Stew&rdquo;) &mdash; sang Forever Young with a folk twist that somehow still felt like magic.</p>
<p>Now onto the winners &mdash; because oh, they delivered.</p>
<p><em><strong>Billie Eilish</strong></em> snatched Artist of the Year<br /><em><strong>Gracie Abrams</strong></em> claimed New Artist of the Year<br /><em><strong>SZA</strong></em> gave us glam and took home Favorite R&amp;B Song for Saturn<br /><em><strong>Eminem</strong></em> made his AMA comeback, winning Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artist<br />And yes,<em><strong> Dan + Shay</strong></em> took home Favorite Country Duo/Group (again)</p>
