It&rsquo;s official: Hogwarts is getting a fresh start &mdash; and now we finally know who&rsquo;s playing the new Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

After an extensive global casting search, the upcoming Harry Potter series has found its golden trio: Dominic McLaughlin will step into the shoes of Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton will take on the role of Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout will play the ever-loyal Ron Weasley.

Producers shared that the chemistry between the three was instant &mdash; and undeniable. They were chosen from thousands of hopefuls, all vying to bring this new chapter of the Wizarding World to life.
&nbsp;
And they won&rsquo;t be alone. The series has lined up some seriously exciting names: John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Snape, Janet McTeer as McGonagall and Nick Frost as Hagrid. Safe to say, the casting is bold, fresh and full of promise.

Set to launch in 2026, this new adaptation will explore the books in depth &mdash; with each season focused on one novel. It&rsquo;s a dream setup for longtime fans who always wished for more time with the stories that shaped a generation.

Filming is set to take place at a newly developed mega-studio in Leavesden, complete with custom-built sets, a full-time school for the cast and everything needed to bring the Wizarding World back to life with care and ambition.
&nbsp;
Naturally, there&rsquo;s already some buzz &mdash; especially around the casting of Arabella Stanton as Hermione. But the production is making moves to protect its young stars and shift the conversation back to what really matters: the magic of the story.
