Japanese world champion Mizuki Hiruta has spoken about the responsibility of holding a world title and her upcoming fight against Egyptian challenger Mai Solimann during the historic &ldquo;Glory in Giza&rdquo; boxing event at the Giza Pyramids.
The Responsibility of a Champion
As the current WBO super flyweight world champion, Hiruta acknowledged that holding a title comes with a strong sense of responsibility.
&ldquo;I try to be responsible, and I work very hard to deserve this title,&rdquo; she said during the interview.
Hiruta emphasised the importance of maintaining discipline and dedication as a champion, while continuing to prove herself in every fight.
Respect for Her Opponent
Speaking about her upcoming opponent, Hiruta expressed respect for Egyptian boxer Mai Solimann, who is expected to have strong support from the local crowd.
&ldquo;I think Mai Solimann is a great boxer, and people here love her,&rdquo; Hiruta said.

Hiruta also highlighted the growing importance of women&rsquo;s boxing on the global stage.
&ldquo;I believe women fighters deserve to be big fighters,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;I feel very lucky, and I will do my best.&rdquo;
