In light of this special occasion, Nogoum FM spoke with Ahmed Gamal, the founder of the Adel Emam Museum&mdash;an intimate collection of rare photographs, newspaper clippings, and memorabilia chronicling the milestones of his legendary career.

Inside Egypt&rsquo;s First Adel Emam Museum: A 32-Year Tribute Built with Love and Dedication&nbsp;
Imagine a man who dedicated over 30 years to building something extraordinary&mdash;not with money, but with passion, love, and unwavering determination. On a quiet street in Shubra, Cairo, 44-year-old Ahmed Gamal transformed his childhood love for cinema into a vibrant tribute: Egypt&rsquo;s first private museum devoted entirely to Adel Imam.
&ldquo;I took one of my old school notebooks and started collecting newspaper clippings about Adel Emam,&rdquo; he recalls. &ldquo;That was the beginning of what would eventually evolve into a major documentation project.&rdquo;
This journey was not just an expression of admiration; it was a family ritual. Year after year, Gamal&rsquo;s family attended theatre performances together. Amidst the lights, laughter, and the magnetic presence of the revered Za&rsquo;eem on stage, a young boy's fascination deepened.
By the age of 12, Gamal had already begun building his archive, unaware that decades later it would become Egypt&rsquo;s first private museum dedicated to the iconic star of the Arab world.
Egypt&rsquo;s First Private Museum Documenting Adel Emam&rsquo;s Legacy
&ldquo;It wasn&rsquo;t a random decision. I meticulously documented, organized, and worked to shape the collection into a museum-like space. Friends began visiting from various Arab countries and even the United States. This is the first private museum in Egypt to archive Adel Emam&rsquo;s history.&rdquo;
Gamal developed his passion for art early on, collecting many artistic publications during his preparatory school years to deepen his knowledge. This love for the arts inspired him to earn a diploma in Art Criticism after completing a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Commerce.

Unseen Moments from Adel Emam&rsquo;s Early Life
&ldquo;One of my prized possessions is an issue of an Agricultural College magazine&mdash;it's the first time Adel Emam was mentioned as a student. I hope to show it to him someday.&rdquo; He continued, &ldquo;I also have a photo of him with his late father and his very first picture from a TV theatre competition.&rdquo;
&lsquo;I Sold My Car for Adel Emam&rsquo;
"I sold my car to fund this project and traveled across Egypt&mdash;from Al-Azbakiya to Suez&mdash;searching for rare memorabilia." He also collected unique items from seven countries: "My collection includes rare materials from Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Kuwait, and the United States."
&ldquo;From original film posters and scripts to signed contracts and even 3D models&mdash;this museum is a treasure trove of Arab pop culture history,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;Some contracts reveal his fees, which I obtained through auctions and from old production companies selling their archives.&rdquo;
The Emam Family Knows&mdash;and They&rsquo;re Proud
&ldquo;Adel Emam is aware of the museum,&rdquo; Gamal shares. &ldquo;His son, director Ramy Emam, visited in 2015 while filming a TV segment and was amazed by what he saw.&rdquo;
