In line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi&rsquo;s directives, Egypt is intensifying efforts to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into education through expanded international cooperation with Japan, new training programs, and curriculum reforms.
Training Teachers and &ldquo;Ambassadors of Development&rdquo; The initiative will prioritize training computer science teachers, supervisors, subject advisors, and members of the technology development team&mdash;known as the &ldquo;Ambassadors of Development.&rdquo; This training is part of Egypt&ndash;Japan cooperation aimed at strengthening digital education.
Opportunities for Outstanding Students Exceptional students from governorates across Egypt will be selected to participate in specialized training sessions with leading Japanese companies via video conferencing. These opportunities will expose students to global expertise, help them develop practical skills, and enhance their competitiveness in the labor market.

Integrating AI into School Curricula Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif announced that AI curricula will be introduced in selected school grades beginning in the 2025&ndash;2026 academic year. A matrix of standards and indicators for AI has been developed for both preparatory and secondary levels, with elements of AI education also incorporated into basic education.
Preparing Teachers and Infrastructure The Minister emphasized that well-trained teachers and specialists are essential to the success of this transformation. Efforts are also underway to strengthen technological infrastructure, including the development of specialized labs, to fully support AI integration into schools.

Why the Moon Turns Red

Because the atmosphere scatters blue light and lets red light pass through, the moon takes on a dramatic reddish glow; the same effect that makes sunrises and sunsets look red. Dust or clouds can make the color appear even deeper.
