To celebrate International Museum Day, All the nation's antiquity museums will open their doors and grant free admission to all Egyptian citizens.&nbsp;
The Egyptian museum sector frequently participates in national and international heritage and cultural events as part of the state's effort to raise Egyptians' awareness of archeological, cultural, and tourism institutions.&nbsp;
Visitors of the museums that day can also take part in free guided tours of each museum and its unique archaeological holdings.&nbsp;
Each year, the International Council of Museums selects a theme for International Museum Day, and this year's theme is "Museums for Education&nbsp;and&nbsp;Research" which emphasizes the vital role of cultural institutions in providing a comprehensive learning experience.&nbsp;
