<p>The renowned Egyptian heart surgeon Sir Magdi Yacoub showed his support for Egypt's national human development project "Bedaya", in a video posted on the project's social media pages.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Yacoub said in the video, "This is a short message from an Egyptian citizen to the Egyptian people. The civilization and progress of nations depend entirely on the culture of the people. This culture requires comprehensive support from the government and the rest of the society", he continued, "This support must focus on health, education, training, and scientific research. I am completely confident that the new project will have a tremendous effect on this matter and will preserve Egyptian civilization, and its advancement".</p>

<p>Egypt's national human development project "Bedaya" was launched under the direction of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, and it&nbsp;aims to ensure&nbsp;that all citizens&nbsp;benefit from the nation's resources&nbsp;fairly and effectively. the main goals of "Bedaya" include preserving Egypt's national security and foreign policy, building human capacity and boosting welfare, creating a competitive economy attractive to investment, and establishing political stability and national cohesion.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"Bedaya" project is set to be implemented in November.</p>
