<p>An Egyptian dog has become viral on social media after a paraglider published a video of him on top of a pyramid in Giza.&nbsp;This incident captured the attention of many media outlets as well as social media users.&nbsp;</p>
<p>US paraglider&nbsp;Marshall Mosher and his fellows spotted last week a stray dog at the summit of the Pyramid of Khafre,&nbsp;the second tallest pyramid. Mosher later posted a video of the dog on Instagram which got millions of views overnight.&nbsp;</p>
<p>In an interview with <a href="https://edition.cnn.com/2024/10/18/travel/dog-climbs-ancient-pyramids-egypt-paragliding/index.html">CNN</a>, Mosher talked about the incident saying, "We noticed something running back and forth on top of the pyramid,&nbsp;One person thought it was a mountain lion." then he said that he felt concerned for the stray dog, but then he quickly realized that it's not stuck up there, "If he got himself up, he can get himself down unless he found some secret portal that helped him teleport to the top of the pyramids".</p>

<p><a href="https://abcnews.go.com/International/video/dog-spotted-atop-great-pyramid-giza-makes-expert-114921540">ABC News</a> also published a video of the dog while he was descending from the top of the Pyramid, which further confirmed that the dog wasn't stuck on top of the Pyramid and it has the ability to climb the pyramid and descend from the summit.&nbsp;</p>
<p><a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2024/10/19/egypt-dog-pyramid-paraglider-video/">The Washington Post</a> also shared multiple comments from Youtube and Instagram that highlight people's reactions to the dog on top of the Pyramid, including one of the Instagram users speculating jokingly that it could have been the ancient god Anubis.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Mosher also added about the incident, "I can see why the dog wanted to go up there. It&rsquo;s definitely the best view for Cairo street dog that I can think exists".</p>
