The winners of the UNESCO-Sharjah Prize for Arab Culture have been announced, and they are the Egyptian painter, Aya Tarek, and&nbsp;Malian filmmaker, Alidji Alvin Tour&eacute;.&nbsp;
With this win, Aya Tarek became the youngest woman to win the UNESCO-Sharjah Prize for Arab Culture.&nbsp;
Aya Tarek is an internationally renowned Egyptian artist, born on November 14, 1989, in Alexandria. A painter and multidisciplinary artist, she boasts a diverse portfolio of art projects, feature films, and collaborations that have garnered acclaim in major cities such as S&atilde;o Paulo and Frankfurt.&nbsp;

Alidji Alvin Tour&eacute; also became the first&nbsp;Malian to win&nbsp;this prestigious award, and he is a filmmaker from Mali, who founded the International Film Festival of Timbuktu, an innovative platform for local and international filmmakers to share their films and promote intercultural dialogue.
It's worth mentioning that&nbsp;UNESCO-Sharjah Prize for Arab Culture was established in 1998, and it rewards each year, two laureates &ndash; individuals, groups, or institutions &ndash; who through their work and outstanding achievements, endeavour to disseminate greater knowledge of Arab art and culture.&nbsp;
The award ceremony of the 20th edition will be held on 28 November at UNESCO Headquarters.&nbsp;
