According to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority, in a statement posted on its official Facebook page on Monday, 16th of June 2025,
Egypt will experience warm to hot weather during the daytime across Northern regions, including Greater Cairo and Northern Upper Egypt. Temperatures will rise even further in South Sinai and Southern Upper Egypt, where the heat will be more intense.
At night and in the early morning, mild conditions are expected across most areas, offering some relief from the daytime heat.
Here are the predicted temperatures for the following cities:
Cairo: 34&deg; C - 22&deg;C
Alexandria: 27&deg;C - 20&deg;C
Sharm El-Sheikh: 40&deg;C - 28&deg;C
Marsa Matruh: 26&deg;C - 20&deg;C
Aswan: 40&deg;C&ndash;25&deg;C
Luxor: 39&deg;C - 25&deg;C
