According to the National Bank of Egypt, in a statement posted on its official website on Sunday, 10th August 2025, the US dollar is buying at 48.50 EGP and selling at 48.60 EGP. The British pound (GBP) rose slightly, recording 65.0822 EGP for buying and 65.4059 EGP for selling, while the euro (EUR) stood at 56.4055 EGP for buying and 56.7599 EGP for selling.
As for other currencies, the Chinese yuan (CNY) recorded 6.7504 EGP for buying and 6.7674 EGP for selling, showing no major change from last week. The UAE dirham (DHS) remained relatively steady at 13.1922 EGP for buying and 13.2342 EGP for selling.
