This might sting, but consider it tough love. The truth is, life&rsquo;s too short to keep carrying dead weight &mdash; and these five stops will help you drop it:
1. Stop forgiving people&nbsp;
Being empathetic is good; to have a kind heart, but you know what's better? Not letting people abuse your kindness and empathy until you burn out&nbsp;
2. Stop being a "pick me"&nbsp;
Either you're a boy or a girl, stop trying so hard to prove yourself and trying to fit in because SPOILER ALERT! You won't and you probably never will, that's the good news! because if you find yourself trying so hard to fit into a place, or people, or community, they're probably not "your people", so the point is to find people who genuinely care about you and want to know the real you&nbsp;
And to quote that " Don't make a fool out of yourself trying to prove your existence to others,"&nbsp; so quit putting a performance&nbsp;approval that shouldn't even need to be earned.
3. Stop going back to your ex
Seriously, did I really have to say that? How many times do you have to hear that to believe that life is no fairytale? No, when you get back together, it won't be all rainbows and sunshine, and there is a 99.999% you will not get married or live the happily ever after. So block their number, delete the playlist and remember &mdash; history books aren&rsquo;t meant to be rewritten.
4. Stop Being Selfless
Okay...okay, hold your horses down, mamas, don't come for me, but what I mean is don't let selflessness eat you alive, we're not trying to self-eradicate ourselves, right? it's noble to care for others but if you keep pouring from your cup you'll find yourself drought and empty fast as light speed, because let me guess you always have a problem with receiving and people dont treat you as you treat them.. omg who said that? and then you'll be left high and dry with nothing left for yourself.
5. Stop Living up to people's expectations&nbsp;&nbsp;
