The US dollar edged lower against the Egyptian pound on Thursday, according to figures from the National Bank of Egypt (NBE).
The dollar was trading at EGP 46.89, down from EGP 46.96 at the previous close.
The marginal decline comes amid subdued activity in the foreign exchange market, with the pound continuing to fluctuate under ongoing economic pressures and cautious sentiment among traders.
