The US dollar recorded a minor decline against the Egyptian pound on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, according to the latest figures released by the National Bank of Egypt (NBE). The dollar traded at EGP 46.74, compared to EGP 46.75 in the previous session. The slight drop comes amid relatively subdued activity in the foreign exchange market, as the Egyptian pound continues to face economic pressures.
