Egypt is expected to see a noticeable increase in temperatures on Thursday, 9 April, with hot conditions during the day and milder weather at night, according to the country&rsquo;s meteorological authorities.
Forecasters say there is a slight chance of light rain along parts of the northern coast and the northern Nile Delta, occurring intermittently.
Low cloud cover is also likely to develop over areas including the southern Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal region and parts of northern Upper Egypt. This may bring occasional light drizzle.
Winds are forecast to be active in several regions, particularly along the northwestern coast, the Matrouh Desert, the Nile Delta, Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt. Speeds could reach between 30 and 40 kilometres per hour, with the potential to raise sand and dust in exposed areas.
