Egypt is set to experience hot conditions during the daytime and cooler temperatures at night on Sunday, 19 April 2026, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
Moderate weather is expected along the northern coast, while most other parts of the country will see higher temperatures during the day.
There is a chance of light to moderate rain in scattered areas of the North Coast, northern parts of the Nile Delta, sections of Upper Egypt, and the Red Sea governorate.
Light rainfall may also affect parts of southern Lower Egypt, with a 20% chance of extending at times to Greater Cairo and the Suez Canal cities.
Winds are forecast across most regions, with speeds ranging between 30 and 40 km/h. The EMA has warned that these winds may lead to blowing sand and dust in parts of the Suez Canal cities, Sinai, and exposed areas of Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt.
