Egypt is expected to see a drop in temperatures across much of the country on Tuesday, with the capital, Cairo, forecast to reach a high of 24&deg;C.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said conditions during the day will range from warm to hot in most areas, while Upper Egypt is likely to experience hotter weather.
Temperatures are expected to fall at night, bringing cooler conditions nationwide.
Light to moderate rainfall is forecast in parts of the northern coastal regions and northern areas of the Nile Delta. There is also a 20% chance of light rain in some southern Delta and cities along the Suez Canal, with occasional showers possibly extending to Greater Cairo.
Winds of between 30 and 40 km/h are expected across much of the country. These may cause blowing sand and dust, particularly in parts of South Sinai and the Red Sea governorate.
The EMA also warned that maritime conditions could be affected along sections of both the Mediterranean and Red Sea coasts. Wind speeds may reach 40 to 50 km/h, with waves rising to between two and three metres.
