The US dollar declined against the Egyptian pound on Tuesday, trading at EGP 52.04 for buying and EGP 52.14 for selling, according to exchange rates published by the National Bank of Egypt (NBE).
Meanwhile, the British pound fell to EGP 69.98 for buying and EGP 70.28 for selling.
The euro was recorded at EGP 60.51 for buying and EGP 60.75 for selling, reflecting mixed performance among major foreign currencies.
In Asian markets, the Chinese yuan stood at EGP 7.69 for buying and EGP 7.71 for selling.
Among Gulf currencies, the UAE dirham traded at EGP 14.15 for buying and EGP 14.19 for selling.
Overall, the Egyptian pound showed modest strength against several major international and regional currencies, reflecting ongoing fluctuations in the foreign exchange market.
