1- In 1997 Jennifer Lopez landed the role of Selena in the biopic &ldquo;Selena,&rdquo; in which she has become the highest-paid Hispanic actress in history as she earned $1 million.
2- Because of her role as a singer in Selena, Lopez loved the idea of singing, and surprisingly, her music career blew up. As her music career began to grow Jennifer Lopez changed her name to J.Lo.
3- At the ripe age of 16, Lopez made her film debut in My Little Girl (1986).

I missed the excitement of the stage, which I had early in my career with the musical theater." Reenacting a concert scene in the movie, the love for singing was ignited in Lopez.&nbsp;
