<p>Sean &ldquo;Diddy&rdquo; Combs, Bad Boy Records founder and artist will receive the Global Icon Award at the MTV&rsquo;s 2023 VMAs</p>
<p>Diddy will also perform at the award show which makes it his first VMAs performance since 2005; &nbsp;Diddy&rsquo;s newest album &ldquo;The Love Album: Off the Grid,&rdquo; will also be performed at the event.</p>
<p>In addition, Diddy is nominated for four other awards, &ldquo;Best Collaboration,&rdquo; as well as Best Rap and Best R&amp;B, for his work on Metro Boomin&rsquo;s &ldquo;Creepin&rdquo; (Remix) and &ldquo;Gotta Move On.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Other artists Doja Cat, Anitta, Lil Wayne, Kelsea Ballerini, Tomorrow X Together, Demi Lovato, Karol G, M&aring;neskin and Stray Kids will also perform.</p>
<p>Diddy took to Instagram to announce the album saying, &ldquo;I present to you my new album. The Love Album: Off The Grid. September 15, 2023. R&amp;B is alive!&rdquo;, he also tagged Justin Bieber, Yung Miami, Swae Lee, Mary J. Blige, Babyface, Teyana Taylor, Jozzy, French Montana, DJ Khaled, and 21 Savage.</p>
