Two of the year's most captivating dramas, "Baby Reindeer" and "Mr. Bates vs. The Post Office", are competing against each other at the 2025 BAFTA TV Awards, held today, 11th May, at London's Royal Festival Hall.
"Baby Reindeer" is based on the real-life story of a man relentlessly stalked by an obsessive woman, a harrowing tale dramatized by the victim himself, Richard Gadd". In contrast, "Mr. Bates vs. The Post Office" presents a powerful and heartbreaking narrative that exposes one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in British history. Both series have captivated audiences and received four nominations each.
Who will be hosting the BAFTA TV Awards?
The BAFTA TV ceremony will be hosted by actor Alan Cumming, with Suzi Ruffell and Tom Allen leading the red carpet coverage. Comedian and presenter Charley Marlowe will oversee TikTok coverage.
The BAFTA TV Awards are one of the biggest nights in television, honoring the best of the small screen from the past year as voted by the British Academy.
