According to a statement by the Egyptian Meteorological Authority published on their official website on Sunday, 18 May 2025, Egypt is expected to witness a gradual drop in temperatures across northern parts of the country, including Greater Cairo and Southern Upper Egypt.
&nbsp;
Despite the slight dip, hot daytime weather will persist in Greater Cairo and the northern coast, while extremely hot conditions will continue across South Sinai and southern regions. The Western Desert and Southern Upper Egypt are forecast to experience dusty winds, with mild weather expected overnight and during early morning hours in most areas.

Luxor: 47&deg;C / 28&deg;C
&nbsp;
Aswan: 47&deg;C / 29&deg;C
