According to the&nbsp;National Bank of Egypt, the Egyptian Pound continues to hold steady against major foreign currencies. On Thursday, 7th August 2025, the US Dollar maintained its rate at EGP 48.4 for buying and EGP 48.5 for selling.
 The British Pound edged slightly higher, reaching EGP 64.5946 for buying and EGP 64.8688 for selling. Meanwhile, the Euro traded at EGP 56.6386 for buying and EGP 56.6383 for selling.
 As for the Chinese Yuan and UAE Dirham, rates stood at EGP 6.7388 (buy) and EGP 6.7573 (sell) for the Yuan, and EGP 13.165 (buy) and EGP 13.2048 (sell) for the Dirham.
