The Man of Steel is not just flying &mdash; he&rsquo;s in full-blown orbit. Less than a month after release, Superman has already doubled its reported $225 million budget, pulling in around $570 million worldwide.
That figure makes it the highest-grossing superhero film of 2025 so far, overtaking Thunderbolts, Captain America: Brave New World, and The Fantastic Four &mdash; and it&rsquo;s showing no signs of slowing down.
When it comes to the history books, Superman (2025) is already the third highest-grossing film in the character&rsquo;s cinematic run, sitting right behind Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ($874.4M) and Man of Steel ($670M), and leaving Superman Returns ($391.1 M) far behind.
