Egypt&rsquo;s musical heritage is set to take center stage in Europe once again, as a landmark concert in London celebrates the timeless legacy of composer Mohamed Abdel Wahab at one of the city&rsquo;s most historic venues.
The Royal Drury Lane Theatre will host a special performance on Sunday, 23 November 2025, featuring internationally acclaimed Egyptian soprano Fatma Said, joined by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Nader Abbassi.
The concert marks the launch of &ldquo;Abdel Wahab&hellip; The Father of Egyptian Arabic Music,&rdquo; an initiative aimed at introducing European audiences to the celebrated musician, often described as &ldquo;the Arab Beethoven&rdquo; and &ldquo;the Mozart of the East.&rdquo;
