The Egyptian pound saw a mild decline in early trade on Thursday, 11 December 2025, as the US dollar continued its upward movement. Figures from the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) show the dollar&rsquo;s buying rate rising to EGP 47.56, compared with EGP 47.55 at the previous close.
