Egypt is set to see another spell of cool weather on Sunday, 14 December, with cold conditions in the early morning giving way to milder temperatures during the day before colder weather returns at night across most parts of the country.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority says light to moderate rain is expected at intervals along parts of the Northern Coast and the northern Nile Delta. Showers may also affect areas of the Red Sea Governorate.
Elsewhere, lighter rainfall is forecast at times over parts of the southern Delta, Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, the Gulf of Suez and northern Upper Egypt, though it is not expected to be widespread or persistent.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to remain generally mild, while nights will feel noticeably colder, particularly in open and desert areas.
