The Egyptian pound recorded a slight improvement in early trading on Sunday, 14 December 2025, as the US dollar edged lower after recent gains. Data from the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) showed the dollar&rsquo;s buying rate easing to EGP 47.49, down from EGP 47.56 at the previous close.
