It's official; Egyptian king Mohamed Salah has appeared in Trabzonspor's maroon and blue shirt for the first time after the Turkish club shared videos and images of the forward ahead of his arrival in Turkey.
Trabzonspor posted the video on its official social media accounts with the caption: "In front of the cameras for the first time in the Maroon-Blue uniform... His first message to the great Trabzonspor fans."
In the video, Salah says: "Trabzon, are you ready? I can hear you. See you soon." The club also confirmed that the Egyptian star is on his way to Turkey, where he is expected to be officially introduced to supporters.

The announcement came a day after Trabzonspor released a teaser video hinting at its next signing. The clip featured scenes inspired by ancient Egyptian civilisation, leading fans to speculate that the mystery player was Salah. The video was accompanied by the phrase "Always Believing", a slogan closely associated with the Egyptian forward and featured in his Instagram bio.
The 34-year-old left Liverpool at the end of last season and is set to join Trabzonspor as a free agent. According to Transfermarkt, the Turkish club has offered Salah a two-year contract worth approximately &euro;17m.

Egyptians Who Have Played for Trabzonspor
Several Egyptian players have represented Trabzonspor over the years. Mahmoud Hassan "Trezeguet" played for the club between 2022 and 2025, making 76 appearances while scoring 25 goals and providing 16 assists, helping the team win the Turkish Super Cup.
Ayman Abdelaziz featured for Trabzonspor during the 2007-08 season, making 55 appearances, while Sayed Moawad joined the club in 2008 before returning to the Egyptian Premier League after four appearances.
