Algeria's Kaylia Nemour&nbsp;made history by becoming the first gymnast from Africa, and the Arab world to win a gold Olympic medal, at the Paris 2024 Olympics.&nbsp;
After winning the gold medal&nbsp;in the women's uneven bars final, Namour also became the first ever African to win an Olympic medal in artistic gymnastics.
It's worth mentioning that the performance of the 17-year-old gymnast was fast-paced and featured a number of complex release-and-catch maneuvers that delighted the crowd who came to support the Algerian gymnast.

China's Qiu Qiyuan, the 2023 world champion, came in second and won the silver medal, while&nbsp;America's Sunisa Lee won her second consecutive Olympic bronze&nbsp;with 14.800 points
