Haaland and Vin&iacute;cius J&uacute;nior join in as World Cup meme goes viral
Hours before Norway face Brazil, social media has been flooded with memes imagining a meeting between Erling Haaland and Vin&iacute;cius J&uacute;nior.
One of the most widely shared posts recreates the famous "A Thousand Miles" car scene from the 2004 comedy White Chicks. Using AI-generated visuals, the clip casts Vin&iacute;cius J&uacute;nior in Terry Crews' role singing along to the song, while Haaland takes the place of Marlon Wayans.
The clip also caught the attention of the players. Haaland, who plays for Manchester City, tagged Vin&iacute;cius J&uacute;nior on social media and wrote: "We need to recreate this."
Vin&iacute;cius later replied, much to the delight of fans ahead of the last-16 tie.

Morocco and France reach the quarter-finals
Morocco booked their place in the quarter-finals with a 3-0 win over Paraguay and will face France on 9 July.
The meeting revives memories of the sides' semi-final at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, when Morocco's historic run ended in defeat. Morocco went on to finish fourth, becoming the first African nation to reach a World Cup semi-final, while France progressed to the final.
France secured their place in the last eight with a 1-0 victory over Canada. Kylian Mbapp&eacute; scored the only goal of the match from the penalty spot to send Les Bleus through to the quarter-finals.
