Just when we thought John Wick's journey had come to an end, director Chad Stahelski surprised us by announcing that John Wick 5 is officially in the works, as revealed in his interview with<a href="https://www.empireonline.com/movies/news/john-wick-chapter-5-really-different-new-story-exclusive/"> Empire</a>. However, this next chapter may not be what fans expect.
We all remember the heartbreak of losing his wife and then his dog, which sparked one of cinema's most iconic revenge sagas. According to Stahelski, the new film will not simply pick up where Chapter 4 left off.
"The saga of John Wick was pretty wrapped up," Stahelski stated in the interview. "So the only way to do a 5 is to have a new story that involves John Wick. It&rsquo;s not a continuation with the High Table. John dealt with his grief. It will be really different, and everybody will see the trailer and say, &lsquo;I gotta see that.&rsquo;&rdquo;
Stahelski also hinted that upcoming spin-offs will help set the stage for Chapter 5. These include:
"Ballerina" (starring Ana de Armas), releasing on June 6, which follows a Ruska Roma-trained assassin seeking revenge.
A TV series titled "Under The High Table," which will expand the experience of the mysterious assassin world.
An animated sequel exploring John Wick&rsquo;s early days and his escape from a life of killing.

Starring Keanu Reeves, John Wick has become more than just an action franchise; it&rsquo;s a cultural phenomenon. Its emotional core, stylish fight choreography, and relentless tension have earned it a loyal fan base worldwide.
