Egypt Exchange Rates | US Dollar Eases to EGP 47.19 in Early Sunday Trading – 2 November

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said on Sunday, 2 November 2025, that Egypt will experience mild autumn weather. Early mornings will be slightly cool, while daytime temperatures will be warm across most regions, turning hot in South Sinai and Northern Upper Egypt, and very hot in the far south.
Evening temperatures are expected to remain moderate at first, becoming slightly cool later at night, reflecting the pleasant autumn transition across the country. According to the latest satellite images, low and medium clouds are forming over parts of the Western Desert and southern regions. These clouds are expected to bring moderate, occasionally thundery rain over areas of Northern Upper Egypt and the Western Desert.
The EMA also warned that downward air currents from beneath the thunderclouds may cause active winds, sometimes raising dust and sand over certain areas.
As the night progresses, light to moderate rainfall is expected over parts of the northwestern coasts and the Nile Delta, possibly extending to areas of Greater Cairo at intervals. Additionally, light rain may fall intermittently over parts of the far south of Upper Egypt and the cities of Halayeb and Shalateen.
