<p>The opening ceremony of the 45th Cairo International Film Festival, will be held today at 8:00 p.m. in the main hall of the Cairo Opera House and will be attended by numerous stars and filmmakers from around the world.</p>
<p>The festival, which will take place from November 13 to 22, will open with the world premiere of the Palestinian film &ldquo;Passing Dreams" directed by Rashid Masharawi.&nbsp;</p>
<p>This 45th edition of the Cairo International Film Festival features 190 films from 72 countries. The events include 16 red carpet screenings, 37 world premieres, 8 international premieres, and 119 screenings for the Middle East and Africa.</p>
